    I totally agree with your reviews. You were spot on. Looked like you had good-natured passengers. We had the opposite - rude, loud, drunk and obnoxious. Ruined us for Carnival.

    It’s so fascinating what is important to some people on their vacations. A lot of the stuff on ur bad list I don’t think I would’ve even noticed which is so funny. But it’s cool to see different perspectives and what to look out for, good video!

      Keep in mind that the format is made to have close to same number of each bad and good, but doesn't mean the weight of the bad necessarily equals that of the good. And without any bad no one would post in the comments, amirite?! 😉😎

    Thank you for ALL the vids on Celebration as my spouse and I are sailing early-October 2024. Your ship tour with map was especially helpful as I'll be in much better shape to navigate this large vessel. The photo at 11:00 is a little unfortunate (for your spouse)...

      @@NogVlog Hi, yes I was wearing T Shirts and shorts on board but would carry my hoody around. And at our last two Alaskan ports I wore shorts since it was pretty warm. We had cold weather in the morning, but with the exception of Sitka where is drizzled 1/2 of the day, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan were all gorgeous sunny high 60s low 70s. You two have done Alaska before right?

    Great rundown guys! We will be sailing on the Celebration on April 30th. We loved the Mardi Gras and know we will love the Celebration. Summer Landing would be our #1 good list. We would go out early when they open the pool at 8am and get our chairs in the pool #primerealestate. But totally agree on the seating for Center Stage. But we will definitely take up on your tip on how to get a good seat for the Circus show (that looked amazing! ) thanks for sharing!

    Just got home from a week on the Celebration. It was our first cruise and we had a great time but everything was always super busy. Long lines for food and drinks all week. Couldn’t get a actual lounge chair at any pool until late afternoons. Way too many people just leave a blue towel out on their chairs for hours without using them. Everything just felt super packed. Food and drinks were good imo.

    • @NogVlog
      @NogVlog  Год назад

      We understand. Placing our note on the available space on the GOOD list comes with the caveat that it may not lead to loungers right in front of the lido pool, but because the ship is so big you can easily find space elsewhere (such as the large spaces on deck 18 between the lido area and Serenity, or the aft of the ship) no matter the time.

    Circa minute 10:35, was it not possible to go up or down a deck to by-pass the Guest Services queue? Or the casino? Good to know the deckplans so that you can avoid going through the tobacco-stench of a casino or the busy areas of the ship unless you need to go there . . . .

    • @NogVlog
      @NogVlog  Год назад

      You could actually veer to the right just before Guest Services and go through the elevator bank and then there is a narrow entrance into Guy's Brewhouse right near the Carnival Store. But if its your first time walking there you really wouldn't know that, as the ship map shows that pathway to be "greyed out" as a crew space when its not at all. It's just an odd way to choose to layout that section.

    • @NogVlog
      @NogVlog  Год назад

      If you are on deck 7 and say leaving the Grand Spectrum Theatre and want to head aft in the ship and not have to go up or down a level, if you use the port side of the casino you may experience less smoke smell since the starboard side is the only side you can smoke on.

      Tough to say, that is always going to be a personal preference to sail with kids that young. Excursion options will be limited, and don't forget about strollers, carseats, and traveling in ports with kids that age. I would say having grandparents there can help give you more you time as they could watch him or her during a port excursion and on a few evenings (beyond the Camp Ocean time, which does allow that young now).

      All standard balconies on deck 10 will be just two decks above the outside of deck 8 that is walkable almost entirely around the ship, so yes is the answer to your question. The only exception are the extended balconies that are right above the celebration central area (the midship "bubble") on either side, those balconies look straight down to the ocean.

    Sailing Celebration late FALL of this year. Q? Please clarify when you say WORK for a good seat for Center Stage. Do they block/open this area at certain times before the show. Would gladly get there 90 min. early to wait for a good seat. Some have noted best seat is left or right of the production cage. Any recommendations... ? Thanks!

      Check out our video where we break it down:
      How to get the best seats for Center Stage shows on the Carnival Celebration
      ruclips.net/video/TMeLK308Hmc/видео.html
      I read this very week they may begin experimenting with reservations for some seats, so that may change things up. Just ignore reviews of people who say the shows are boring and leave, they are not understanding the pre-show vs real show structure!

      @NogVlog Beautiful Ship, don't get me wrong. A tremendously smaller buffet (to prevent food waste - supposedly), which creates the same long lines with lesser options. Smaller elevators with (on our sailing) tons of motorized scooters. And I believe there are fewer elevators than smaller class ships. Disembarkation was a total nightmare as guests were all blocking the elevators with luggage and scooters. The food you'll have to judge for yourself. I'm not giving up on Carnival, but not this particular ship again. 6500 guests and the lines were long everywhere. The only uncrowded area was the Deck 19 cabanas... But to be fair, certain eateries had their line moving right along. It just got so discouraging by day 3... The entertainment areas of the ship (for the game shows & performances) are not made for the capacity of the ship. You're going to have to arrive awfully early to get a good seat as guests figured it out by the second day. We had a good time overall... The rear pool is something to see with a glass wall at the very back of the ship. That's pretty neat. Everyone's opinion and experience will be different. Just as an avid cruisers, it wasn't the best experience for us. We're planning on a November sailing on another cruise line to see if there are better options for our likings...
