It's amazing how many of these native drummers are on You Tube. Equally amazing is the fact that they all sound virtually the same. I can only figure that it takes very little talent to do that.
@@Djembemafia Sadly, it's no joke. -- Regarding direspect (I presume you meant disrespect) - if something is presented as an extremely limited and primitive endeavor it hasn't earned respect. Misshearing? They are playing the same patterns over and over. Yes, I'm hearing a few variations, just as there's a difference between the number of sesame seeds on a McDonald's bun versus a Wendy's burger. Not significant. "Zero knowledge about music?" I taught music in an elementary school. In my professional life I composed, arranged for the Royal Philharmonic of London. I also made all sorts of world music, jazz, classical, and show music for many projects at Disney World, Motion pictures and stage shows. I know about melodies, harmonies, sophisticated rhythms in different applications, lyrics, complicated arrangements using many multiple instruments, music theory and chords, and dynamics, plus the esoteric practice of syncing to mechanical and electronic sources. Oh, and by the way - in elementary school I taught a drum circle and the kids picked it up in one session. Even the lesser talented ones.
