Assalamu alaikum. Some people instead of trying to get the point of a video, which is to lighten up a bit, are more concerned with talking rubbish about a person. It could have been justified if the person in the video, here, Nouman Ali, was doing any kind of foolish acts. And those who are trying to tell people that Nouman Ali isn't a scholar are right. Never did Ustadh Nouman ever even claim to be one. But what did he do to be receiving hateful comments? Even if you hate Mufti Menk, consider this statement: "We may never know what issues people are facing which make them think, act and react in certain ways. Be helpful rather than judgemental." If Allah really wanted to hold us accountable for our deeds then none of us might have been able to go to jannah. So let's learn to be humble inshallah.
Bishaar Sabtow The video I took it from has been taken down. It was Bayyinah tv's original material. Someone had uploaded it from there which is illegal I knew. Well this clip doesn't seem to be illegal!
@hamza arshad Normal stand up can be dirty and sometimes cross lines that are way too inappropriate. Some ppl can deliver without extreme offence and others just insult in the name of comedy. People that have no boundaries to fear find them funny, and in some ways they might actually be, but it feels disrespectful to laugh and then makes you guilty and the joke just sours I guess? Idk how to explain.
@@leloamin98 if you are saying that jokes can be too inappropriate for example talking about sex or they can be offensive to some ppl and so they shouldn't be made. The thing is that, even if they are offensive they are still jokes and so shouldn't be taken seriously and even if the person is talking about sex than it's just a joke and so u laugh at it and than move on. You have to realize how hard it is to do stand up and most ppl can't make ppl laugh for 1 min let alone an hour and so it takes great skill and we should appreciate them. Jokes are jokes and not meant to be taken seriously so relax Ironman. Btw I don't mean this message in a harsh way or anything, just wanted to put my perspective forward.
@hamza arshad you're right, and I get it. Comedy is an art and it takes skills to deliver. I have many favourites myself and I love most of their content. I just meant that there are people out there that take this art of making people laugh and turn it into something ugly. Like that one woman that made the "Dear Fat People" video or Steven Crowder that made that one video on the Prophet SAW himself. Those videos were supposed to be comedic but it was straight up lies, insults, and fat shaming. But let's go back to the original comment of 'halal stand up'. Comedy doesn't have to be about sex or have cuss words to be funny but that's the norm. I love Kevin Hart and Dave Chapel, not to mention that Apollo show of Aries Spears still kills me, but I would never let my little cousins watch them no matter their age. Someone like Trevor Noah is safer. He's funny as he is and he doesn't need to go that....extra as much I guess. Anyways, there isn't a right or wrong answer in comedy. Like you said, they are jokes and they're meant to be laughed at, but its the audience it's targeted to that determines the contents. So halal stand up should be something we could laugh at with our families without them worrying about our after lives 😅
@@leloamin98 yeah, I get ur point that there's always a limit and that it shouldn't be crossed. Meanwhile the guy with the original comment is like what's going on here, I didn't sign up for this
Im glad that there's such a person as Nouman Ali for the younger generation, his lectures are so easy to listened to but also meaningful. Hope he'll have more and more lectures and videos in the future, jazakallah.
my Ribs 😂😂 that 14 year old kid had me 😂 i was planning to lead taraweeh once i finish up my my Hifdi, but yoo hearing this makes me think twice 😂 love u Nouman
Maybe start by reciting quran normally to a group of people. And then leading prayer for a small known group of people. And then lead prayer in a mosque
My little sister always climbs me and grabs my neck and hangs on my neck for the most of the salah I sometimes have to break the salah cuz I can't breath
Sometimes you should be thrown into deep waters to learn to swim. In Sha Allah, the kid will be stronger because of this and may just be leading u in prayer someday!
I remember my childhood ,female side me and my friends use to giggle and talk in low voice while still in the line ,so there's this mother who always had a very long stick, she chased us away and go back for taraweh, we wait for her to enter the prayer, only to start where we left.Allahu Akbar.
This was hilarious! we need a full series of stories about children mischiefs in prayers, specially the way Nouman Ali Khan tells them is sooo funny mashaa'Allah! 🤣 on a more serious note tho, I feel so bad for the 14 year old hafiz, specially since he told his parents it wasn't a good idea which means he wasn't ready/wasn't confident that his nerves wouldn't overtake him so to be forced in that situation is truly gonna be a memory that will stick with him, at least for me, from having been in a slightly similar situation when I was young where, despite clearly stating my objection, I was pushed by a relative to recite Qur'an in front of a crowd of strangers and I'm already very introverted / filled with stage fright / often don't function under pressure, that honestly continues to be a bit of a trauma even as a grownup. I pray that this doesn't affect him for long and inshaa'Allah he would be able lead many prayers for years to come! I think for these things, encouragement is wonderful but they should also take the child's opinion into consideration, if they seem really against it because they're too nervous, don't push them because that will only make it worse, and just give them encouragement to do this on smaller scale, like leading the prayers at home just with family members, which would boost his confidence in a situation that isn't so high pressure.
the pressure of leading salah for the first time is soooo real 😭😭 i could literally hear my heartbeat when i first led my mom in salah and i felt like i couldn't breathe lmaooooo i hope that kid's doing well

So here is the issue that needs to be clarified:Many people use the abbreviation “SAW,” “SAWS,” or “PBUH” to fulfill this obligation in their writing. Is this something that fulfills the obligation of sending the salaah and salaam on the Messenger? Let us look now to some of the statements of the scholars regarding this practice. The Permanent Committee of Scholars in Saudi Arabia headed by ‘Abdul-‘Azeez ibn ‘Abdillaah ibn Baaz issued the following verdict when asked about the validity of abbreviating the salaah on the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam): “The Sunnah is to write the entire phrase “sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam,” since it is a kind of supplication, and supplication is worship, (in one’s writing) just as it is in one’s speech. So to abbreviate it using the letter SAAD or the word SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM is not a supplication nor is it worship, whether it occurs in speech or writing. For this reason, this abbreviation was not used by the the first three generations, those that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) testified to their goodness.” [8] “SAAD” and “SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM” are often used in some Arabic books. The English equivalents of these abbreviations would be: SAW, SAWS, SAAWS, PBUH, and the likes. Al-Fayrooz-Abaadee said, “It is not appropriate to use symbols or abbreviations to refer to salaah and salaam, as some of the lazy ones do, as well as some ignorant people and even some students of knowledge - they write ‘SAAD-LAAM-‘AYN-MEEM’ instead of writing ‘sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam.'” [9] Ahmad Shaakir said, “It is the absurd tradition of some of the later generations that they abbreviate the writing of ‘sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam.'” [10] Wasee Allaah ‘Abbaas said, “It is not permissible to abbreviate the salaams in general in one’s writing, just as it is not permissible to abbreviate the salaah and salaam on the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam). We were v young and a few of us kids praying salat together. When we went into sajda someone farted. All of us were in sajda laughing so hard didnt get up for ages. No one owned up or went to do wazu again but we all re-started namaz. Many years later after marriage and kids - one person owned up... good memories...
Assalamualekum Awesome I can't stop laughing. I didn't laugh from so many days. Please pray for me. I m going through hardship Allah Grant me sabr Ameen
LMAO cant stop laughing, took me down memory lane ........ when i was like 27 or so years of age , i remember my mother and sister came over and we started praying our salah, now my sister is about 14 or 15 years younger than me so at the time she was around 13 or 14 years of age, at that time she wasnt use to praying especially with me as i lived in new york for many years as i had gotten married off at the age of 17, so this could possibly have been the first time she was praying with me, now just to give you some more insight, my mother is a strict practising muslim and believe me she would have her chapel (slipper) ready for us any given time if anyone misbehaved, anyway we started to pray , just as i bent half way and recited Subhana Rabi alazeem, i hear my sister starting to giggle , now unfortunatly the type of person that i am , if anyone starts to laugh i start too laugh too, monkey see monkey doo, astagferulla, anyway now im like OMG better quickly get into sajda my mother is going to kill me, so i rush down , now as i rush down my whole duppata (scarf) falls of off my head :( now me and my sister are laughing till tears roll down our eyes, may Allah forgive us even my mothers laugh slightly came out, once finished that rakaat boy did we get into trouble and had to calm ourselves down to finish off our salah, but before that i asked my little sister why did you laugh, she laughed even more and said, baji jaan (sister dearest) when you went half way down i saw your gooth (part of my pony tale plated up) and if that wasnt bad enough as you went into sajda i see your full head of hair LMAO, then i replied, why on earth did you even look my way, and afcourse she had no answer as she knows she isnt suppose too lol . Since then on ive prayed either alone somewhere or with mature people as i have much much more knowledge now of my beautiful religon and dont wish to transgress acidently, i hate this about myself as even if i go to a fotgee (funural, not actual one but a place to do afsos) i end up laughing there too :( anyway hope those who read my coment enjoyed my little mishapp :)
Actually we were 4 clg friendz praying dohr salah. It's was summer due to sweat one of my friend cotton shirt was stick to her body . She was wearing hijab on the top of her clothes though. When she went in rukh shirt start tearing so the sound was like( paar) like tearing cloth sound. She started laughing. When she went in sujjud it's sounds more( par par). We all 4 friends started laughing. In each rukh and sajjud there was sound like (par par par. ). Laughing was uncontrollable lol. When she finished salah she remove her hijab and checked her whole sleeves was tear due to sweat and it was cotton clothes. It's was very awesome may Allah forgive us. But we can't stopped laughing that time. Lol
in my madarasa every kid had to lead prayer but i was so anxious i completed in no time, others were like done so fast? it was embarassing, then i did my best to avoid by talking leave and going to washroom. lol

Kids are so innocenr, beautiful, energetic.its a blessing to have them everywhere, at home, in the masjid, in the playground. You can get so much happiness just watching them do all the naughty.stuff. It was a wonderful sight to watch some kids outside masjid-e-nabawi.where one little kid was supposed to be minding his little bro in the pram, while his mom was praying, the best part was he called all his other friends and they started playing with the kid in the pram as if he was a doll!! It was absolite fun watching them play. After that i would sit outside the mosque after magrib only to watch kids play and run around, it was so much fun!! World without kids and their naughtieness would be so boring and meaningless!!
Brother it's funny but lesson of the day is don't take your kid to the masjid to pray unless you teach him how to pray and behave in masjid Because it disturbs others salah the kid is innocent and won't take the blame but parents aren't innocent they will be questioned about in the day of judgement May Allah guide and protect us all
I think that even if they're young you should take your kid to the masjid. Because even our prophet while he leaded the prayer he had his grand daugher in his shoulders. And hassan and houssain were playing with him when he (saw) was praying. So it's cool to take the kids to masjid
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: *“The rights of one Muslim over another are six.”* It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: 1.If you meet him, greet him with salaam; (Saying Assalamualaykum) 2.If he invites you, accept the invitation; 3.If he asks for advice, give him sincere advice; 4.If he sneezes and praises Allaah(Alhamdulillah), say Yarhamuk Allaah (may Allaah have mercy on you); 5.If he falls sick, visit him; 6.And if he dies, attend his funeral. Gotta love Bayyinah awesome :)) May Allah bless and guide you and me
funny you mention this but I took my almost 5 year old son to Maghrib namaz last night (sat11th may 2019)and he was beside me making sujood and we finished our first sujood and he didn't! He was sprawled out on the prayer mat. I had to nudge the little angel and he immediately got up and looked up at me!! damn that was funny!
kids can be annoying but then my dear freinds if we dont see kids in the masajids it means no future for islam so let the kids come and lets be mercyful to them if posable give them sweets momey etc so that they will love to come that runing and jumping will change when they reach puberty inshallah
GOOD IDEA
Thank Allah for Nouman Ali Khan

🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂This is amazing I love to see people happy and funny while teaching 😂❤❤
Never force your kids to lead taraweeh. They will end up never doing it or running away like that kid 🤣🤣😂
What an awesome Personality. Wallahi Nauman , You are the best .
Hehe when I lead a group, prior I intent to read a longe verse, after saying amiiiin, I start to feel the anxious, then read short :)
I have deep respect for imaams who lead the prayer. I dont know how they handle the pressure. I can read page after page when I am alone but if you lead someone the pressure takes over :(
😄😄
@@nurjanahbakti1883 Wallahi all the tajweed and pronounciation leaves you and the anxiety just takes over. Big respect to all of our Qari’s out there only Allah knows how they do it, as he blessed them walhamdulillah
I think experience def helps. inshallah we all get the confidence someday to lead salah perfectly. i still get a little anxious here and there and mess up my surahs 😭 but i've definitely become better compared to the first time i did it.
Wow this person know Urdu/Hindi, English and Arabic so well 👏👏
this is very funnny ... i laughing so mch... alhamdulillah this video make me feel alhamdulillah.

We were v young and a few of us kids praying salat together. When we went into sajda someone farted. All of us were in sajda laughing so hard didnt get up for ages. No one owned up or went to do wazu again but we all re-started namaz. Many years later after marriage and kids - one person owned up... good memories...
The last one was epic.
U just made my day
MaShaa Allah i actually enjoyed this video alot .. some kids really do silly things in the masjid

Subhan Allah
I can't stop laughing
Awesome
I also like you if some one I also start laughing .
Some similar thing happened with me during salah.
I can't stop laughing

Actually we were 4 clg friendz praying dohr salah.
It's was summer due to sweat
one of my friend cotton shirt was stick to her body .
Lol
Please pray for me
I m in very bad situation.
Allah Grant me sabr.
It's my dua that one day I will meet brother Nauman Ali

May Allah serve you drink in jannah..really like
Awesome Ustadh!!
I remember being imam i was so young back then and i was so nervous i started the 2nd rakaat without fatiha
I laughed my lungs out 😂😂😂
My daughter pulls on my hijab and pokes my eyes when I am praying! 😩😳
mASHAllah I LOVE THIS MAN JAZAK allah
funny story about the Eid al-Fitr event... Because I woke up late and arrived at the field the Eid sermon was in progress, thinking 'aah I'm not late I'm still delivering the sermon (remember it's like praying Friday prayers after the sermon), after the sermon is over everyone gets up and goes home... I can only stand still because I realize I have missed the Eid prayer
Thanks for putting much laugh on my face
Allahu Akbar.. brother nouman got me laughing with tears.. this is really good though..
I am Somali I love sheikh Nouman ali khan I really love him so much and when he was talking about the 14 year old kid leading the tarawih he said a word tasting like Somali YAA TUKINAYA and it means who is leading the salah in Somali and that the word uncle said hahah I thought the sheikh was speaking somali hahahah
1.2M views nah, he said yaha to koi nahi hai. Which is ‘ no one is here’ in Hindi/Urdu . I can see where you’re going with the Somali though. It makes sense if you think about it like tht too. But he doesn’t speak Somali. Wuxu udhashay dalka Pakistan .
@@Arrowsentcoapt ma anaad ikala barasaa sheekha I have been watching his videos for the last 3 yrs I know him very well but what I said isn't sheikh is speaking somali I said it sounds like the word YAA TUKINAYA
Oh, I’m sorry. I really didn’t mean to offend.
Somali people have a beautiful belief and practise. I learned so much from them.
😂😂😂
As an old gentleman this cracked me up more than it should
MashaAllah love him for the sake of Allah
A similar incident to the Imam that ran out the window happened here in South Africa, about 10 years back. The next day, the trustees put burglar bars on all the windows.
He is so funny. I love him for that!
I really love Nouman Ali Khan for ALLAH'S sake
Didn't laugh like this for a long time hahaha may allah bless with the best of both worlds
Ameen
Please write Allah with capital A
This should be a section on Bayyinah.tv ‘Nouman Stand Up Comedy’
I love you Ustadh Nouman Ali for the safe of Allah. Masha'Allah, what a good joke?
This is gold lollll Allah Humma Barik
Brother it's funny but lesson of the day is don't take your kid to the masjid to pray unless you teach him how to pray and behave in masjid
Because it disturbs others salah the kid is innocent and won't take the blame but parents aren't innocent they will be questioned about in the day of judgement
May Allah guide and protect us all
They probably have good intentions with letting the kids stay in the masjids
I think that even if they're young you should take your kid to the masjid. Because even our prophet while he leaded the prayer he had his grand daugher in his shoulders. And hassan and houssain were playing with him when he (saw) was praying. So it's cool to take the kids to masjid
What about imam Hassan and hussain ? They were child and prophet (pbuh) bring them masjid
@@nisekoliuio6073 yeah, even Muhammad Al fatih said I'm afraid of the time when there won't be anymore kids playing around in masjid
@@nisekoliuio6073 Exactly bro
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
*“The rights of one Muslim over another are six.”*
It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said:
1.If you meet him, greet him with salaam; (Saying Assalamualaykum)
2.If he invites you, accept the invitation;
3.If he asks for advice, give him sincere advice;
4.If he sneezes and praises Allaah(Alhamdulillah), say Yarhamuk Allaah (may Allaah have mercy on you);
5.If he falls sick, visit him;
6.And if he dies, attend his funeral.
Sahih Muslim (2162)
