Tough part of his job. I think you can find a little joy in every job that you're passionate about but there's always certain aspects of every job that aren't enjoyable. So lightweights like Poirier can come in at 183, and MWs like Costa at 217. Therefore, UFC and ONE divisions are basically the same cos they're all fighting around the same weight, just ONE doesn't pretend their lightweights are fighting at 70kg.

Cosmo isn't the most insane striker ever, they just happened to feed Sage to a guy they knew would probably smash him and build up the one organization they did the same to Eddie, and tried to do with Johnson; he fought a guy that looked a full weight class or 2 bigger than him.

DJ wasn't against bigger guys, he's just more ripped cos he grew up cutting weight. Maybe you don't understand the Asian weight class system. Those guys are weighed(and tested) consistently, from 6 months before the fight until just before fight night. The weight declared is their actual weight.
The UFC/US system only checks fighter's weight on fight week, so fighters cut to that weight, just for show, and then blow back up just before the fight. So lightweights like Poirier can come in at 183, and MWs like Costa at 217.
Therefore, UFC and ONE divisions are basically the same cos they're all fighting around the same weight, just ONE doesn't pretend their lightweights are fighting at 70kg.
also, they aren't setting guys up to lose, every promotion gives big name fighters elite opponents...

I know the guy Cosmo fought was good. But the first guy seemed to believe that Cosmo was the best striker ever or something, because he's now helping usman.
But explain how some fighters at one can change weight classes if they supposedly competing at their natural/optimal weight? One allows weight misses if they like the fighters, the ones from their gyms or poster children.
