Rickie, I love your song "Last Chance Texaco" it was me! Not me anymore but in my 20's, I first heard this in the 1980"s, I could listen to you all day long.
When I was young, I couldn't know the inspirations of music that spoke to me because it changed my connection to it. Now, so many years later I can appreciate where they came from. My own connections to them are cemented so any notion(s) or meaning or inspiration revealed, doesn't impact what they meant, for me. Thank you for all your inspiration, experience and work that have helped my life experiences be richer.
her version of ‘younglood’ from ‘live at red rocks’ where she asks security to let the people come up and dance ❤❤❤ if i’m feeling down all i have to do is blast that with earbuds in 😊 instant happiness ❤
When exactly did this take place? Was this during the covid situation because I downloaded almost all of her live streams during that time but there were a few that I did not see because I had to buy one I think and I just miss another one. Also there was one that she had done that she accidentally deleted and I have that one to. Thank you so very much for being a Rickie Lee Jones fan.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
thank you for all you've given us and continue to give us! highly recommend reading the book (Last Chance Texico) and looking forward to hearing the new album
Hey, get an SG like in Cream. Do a RB rock piece to be worshiped. Then use Easy Money as the bridge. It would be really strange, like people worshiping a golden ox while you take a break, groove on some good jazz and cherries and discuss thoughts on the 40+ commandments that just came down. I like your piano style everything. And. Just thinking about present Venis and hollywood can almost make you cry if it weren't for the people ( When they're not begging). First heard your music Chuck and Man from mars in my car in a parking lot on waveland. Couldn't place the style. Now it's all obvious, keep up the good work. Thanks.

Ricky…if only you knew how much your music meat to me in years where I felt lost. I’m not lost anymore but I’ve found you again. Love you
