I used the same kit on my daughter’s 09 Accord. Follow the directions (like you demonstrated) and it works great! My Fit is ready for the headlight restoration now, so I’ll use the 3M kit again. Those solar spaceships have done their damage! Great video!

My Fit's headlights were so bad I had to open the headlight units to polish the inside as well! Tip: to soften the adhesive/sealant to get the lens off, bake the headlight in an oven for 5-10 mins at 100 degC.

My fix was replacing the yellow hazing old ones with a new set of headlight assembly from RockAuto, under two hours and super bright!
Awesome headlight restoration, I’m going to have to do this to mine soon. How do you keep your engine looking so clean? Lol I just bought one with 119K I don’t think it was ever cleaned
I cleaned it just for that video lol, I mainly just touched up the cover and tubes and such with a microfiber cloth. You can also cover intake and electricals with bags/tape and pressure wash it
I personally use Meguiar's clear coat. Small can and it'll last you awhile
I’ll consider that next time. Got some small streaks from where I wiped the light

I just used whitening toothpaste & polished the lenses with spit & rag lol actually came out decent..
Try putting headlamp bulbs in one

clean headlight with soapy water, mask up the surrounding area, sand with p500 sand paper first, p800 next, wet sand with trizack 3000 grit, wipe off with a clean dry cloth and remove masking tape. when dry add clear coat - DONE.

i was hesitant to get this product since i really have no experience with auto repair, but shops here wanna charge me $50+ so fuck it, im gonna try it and report back
I did it once on my Fit GD1.. back then I have no idea how to properly do it, so I messed up.. HAHAHA now I'm saving money to buy new lenses rather than restoring it coz maybe I'm not skilled enough to do the job right HAHAHA
