Hey Kyle, just watched your episode and just want to let your family know that I think you all are awesome keep up the great work!
Kyle how old are you know ?
hummingbird thanks!! That's what I'm doing, I still play music professionally in a Chicago based bluegrass band called the Henhouse Prowlers! Can't imagine not playing music. ♥️♥️🎻
felix121984 I am now 27! Geez so old.
Cool...I wish they would do more episodes of this show..I like it...I don't remember this one so I'm going to watch...
"I was afraid she was gonna be in high heels, weigh 20lbs and eat an almond for dinner" -little girl in RV! Hahahahaha!!!!
Tavon Fenwick oh shut up
@Tavon Fenwick kids can have a sense of humor. All the kids were more than respectful during the show! I could see if it were a consistent problem but it wasn't. Laugh a little.
Tavon Fenwick wow kids must love you. I don’t like a bratty child either. That girl was far from a brat. She’s very well behaved. It was just a funny kid humor comment. No disrespect was meant by it. Children could teach u a thing or two if u get that stick outta ur butt. It was not at all being disrespectful she was in a funny way sharing her anxiety about wondering how the new mom would be. She was not even talking to a actual person if was just a general comment I laughed 😂
loved that little girl too lol she's just like me
georgia martin fats aren't as bad for you as people think.
OMG!!!!!! That girl can sing man!!!! Holy cow!!!!!
Rachael Smith#FAM right? No enthusiasm from the father, at least from how they edit things. Hope he complimented her on her singing. She has potential.
he's a jerk...why does he have custody of his daughter? to avoid child support, no doubt @@RyanSpringer1984
And without instrumental 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
And her loser dad can’t even clap or say she did well.... The most he can say is wrapped it up and I’m gonna go chain-smoke For a while but couldn’t have anything to do with her or the other sisters
What a beautiful voice.
Wow Tasha....girl when you turn 18, pack your room and leave that a hole of a father and chase your dream. You have so much talent and your voice is incredible!!!
AMEN!!
Her voice is lovely. I hope she didn’t let her douchey dad hold her back.
I hope she does 💕
She did better than the mom whose supposed to be in a band
Litte Girl: Finishes singing a cute song.
Mom: My song is about someone who is really sick, and you know they're gonna die.
I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂
Channel Gee she stumbled on the words too. I was like "awww"
😂
Lmao! Yeah, that had me dead.
Channel Gee my thought exactly.
The RV family got it together. Live free and have fun
@ThulePrincess88 we've lived on the road, it's the opposite, it's usually a debt free lifestyle with a ton of freedom
Living on the road is a sure fire way to make sure you don't have any meaningful relationships with anyone not traveling with you. Phone calls, pen pals, texting and video conferencing are an abysmal distinction to actually seeing people face to face daily or even weekly which builds a thousand fold better bonds.
I would Love that
@@nunyabuisness7552 the world we are all living in today #covid... it’s really sad that is reality now. Well in Canada anyways
@@nunyabuisness7552 They have a house so I don't think they actually live on the road.
"I'd love to get a dog"
hahaha that killed me, that was the nicest possible honest answer.
😂😂😂
When Tasha’s mom said “well it’s interesting you say that because-“ in response to the constructive criticism I totally thought she was gonna be offended and go off but she was just so gracious and sweet. Both mothers were wonderful!!
Rin if the one mom was wonderful she wouldn't be married to a loser like Craig.
Yeh that was real cool
"I'm going to go chain smoke for a while" - Craig
I thought he was talking about the chainsmokers 😂
Bag of douche
same
At least he's not around the kids then.
LMFAO 🤣😂😂😂😆
that smoking husband was a bit of a tosser, I didn't like him very much. Everyone else seemed to be making an effort to act like normal humans.
Penguin he thinks way too much of himself, needs to be taken down a level or two!!
Penguin tosser lol
So hard for those two young girls to build a relationship with their step dad. So unfair to them.
@@Bunnysaurus_ I agree, he seems just awful.
I'm scared those little girls will grow up and think they should marry men like that. It works for their mom but that's not for everyone.
"Let me ask, what is it you've seen that you can take back to your family?" ........"Well I'd love to have a dog" LMAO
I hoped that she had said - "I want to chain smoke and ignore my family more often, like you."
“Well, I'd love to have a dog.": Perfect.
She home-schooled that dad good-n-proper.
Each mom is definitely the glue that holds her family together.
@@madhattermd1 😂😂😂
@@madhattermd1 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Woah! It’s the girl version of the Walmart yodeling kid🤣
Well I've been saying this since day one, but the song he's singing isnt really a "yodeling song" its lovesick blues great song but not really yodeling. That girl is YODELING 100% 😂 and while it is not my favourite music style it is definitely a talented yodel
He stole her brand! Lol
that kid killed it on the fiddle... family's music was AWESOME!!!
How can the dad not show no emotion when tasha sang her voice is amazing
She can't smoke on the bus, I know she going through it😂😂
Good time to quit that nasty habit. Especially for your kids. They don’t need that crap around them
holy crap- tasha has an incredible voice!
I know I was surprised by that
Personally I don't think so, it's not my kind of voice.
My Room might not be your style but she sings in tune for someone who hasn’t had professional training
@@emmaaxo8409 Yeah but saying "in tune" for sounding like a hillbilly is pretty ironic.
@@excessmaterial they aren’t talking about the family that lives in the RV and sings bluegrass. They’re saying the oldest daughter in the other family has a nice voice.
wow i was surprised at how gracious and kind both of the mothers were!!
First song I've ever wrote my ass. Tasha's voice is beautiful!
depending on how long ago she wrote it she could've been perfecting it for years, and clearly she has quite a fair bit of talent musically.
Mina NEVERMIND hey guys thanks for the compliment! This show was taped when I was 17 and it really was my first song I've ever written. I'm 30 now so definitely a long time ago! It was a fun experience :)
Do you still sing?
Tasha Nicole t
I hope the best for you!! You have a great voice! It reminds me a lot of mine(: Keep at it!
Michelle was dying on stage but she did it. Legend
Omg!!! Her voice though!! How a father could hear his child sing like that without crying is beyond me!! Wow!! She has something. He should be so proud to even know her. That goes for his other children as well...We all saw how awesome they are.
Perhaps when she is a star he will want a part of it
❤ BEAUTIFUL VOICE
Meh
She could have a future.
The song is so time appropriate lol.. it sounds just like any song that would be on the radio in that early 2000 era! and dad is such a miserable fuhk🙄
"Eat an almond for dinner" Classic funny
I like the way the young lady described who she was expecting to see, either someone large or someone skinny in high heels who only ate an almond for dinner :D
Two incredible women and mothers
With talented children! 💖
"And you can legally go to Jail."
Redkit Bellson that would be as a mom.
XD
lol
Redkit Bellson welp Jacob killed his younger brother and his mother so yeah....
Yes, a mean spirited resentful comment which seems to permeate his attitude towards the children and the other Mom. He has issues and should seek counseling. Hope he chooses to be a emotionally supportive giving person instead of...
*WOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!! That teenage girl can sing. She needs to audition for American Idol and be a famous singer. She's amazing!!!!!* ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I honky-tonk Agree. She is going to be the next Taylor Swift.
The only episode I've come across where they actually took the feedback in a positive way. Lovely
Both of the wives are so gracious and strong
So the RV kids got to go to space camp and stuff and the other kids got a guitar and parenting classes for their dad 😂
Well the parent need it for real
I was dying laughing when that was said...he should of treated the mom better...he was a a hole
Wasn't to fair to the two little kids tho..... Just saying
The bulk of the remainder was to pay off credit card debt, so apparently, the family was in a bit of debt. Wonder if that was why the dad was so edgy?
@@greyeye5345 well that tends to happen when you claim you don’t have to have it but DO have “the perfect life”
Yeah Perfect til the bills roll in and the only way you’re keeping up with the Jones’ is if the Jones’ are also going into foreclosure! Pretty common back then to live above your means til you crash .
And sorry but that’s BS to give that excuse to the dad. He was an ahole. The ADULTS got themselves into it it’s on them. Regardless you don’t take it out on your kids PERIOD
Tasha has a beautiful voice👍👍
Alicia Rasse just hearing it!!!!
Craig comes across like a complete narcissistic psycho - the kind that would annihilate his entire family. He’s a creep.
He doesn’t like his daughters voice because it takes attention away from him for that moment. The only time he gave her props was when there were other people around. It’s an act. He’s mimicking social behaviors.
Beta Male provider that took the red pill too late probably
@@nailinpalin1477 oh for fuck's sake do you have a setting that isn't bitter?
Holy crap! Spot on!! I was thinking the exact same thing! He only hugged her and told her good job because ppl were around. It would seem odd to ppl if he didn't do that and instead said "I'm gonna go chainsmoke now" like he did the first time she sang in their living room. Hes creepy...
Total psycho. Hope he didn't perm damage those children because mom only cares about good sex 🙄
Is it just me or when he was one on one with the new mom did he seem like he wanted to strangle her? Especially when he said he's not uptight?
"Well I'd love to have a dog"... good girl!!! Lol!!
Yeeesss!! Caught that and lmao!! 🤣🤣
Good girl!! Lmao yaaassss I loved that and your comment more 🤣
How does a 7 year old decide that they're a republican??
Luxe Honey They don't. They get told they will be.
The same way a 7 year old becomes a Democrat. Children absorb what they learn in their home and when they're adults they decide what fits them politically.
Luxe Honey just like they decide what they want to eat or wear honey.
They don't, they are brain washed. Nice people are not Republicons, selfish...people are.
Common sense
Tasha has a beautiful voice .....
And I love the line 'Well I'd love to have a dog' - totally the correct answer to give Tash's father at that moment.
Kyle is amazing on the Violin - The O'brien family band are fabulous and have so much fun.
why thank you : )
That oldest girl is actually quite a good singer tbh
the little girl in the camper looks like a young Sue Heck (from the show the middle) so cute!!
Why is no one talking about how the RV family completely flipped the script at the end by revealing they had an actual house. Talk about a plot twist...
I was thinking the same.
A beer and a mop.....a beer and a mop😂😂😂
Destiny Boykin lmaooo a beer and a mop😂😂😂
technically it's not "aimlessly traveling around" if you actually have a destination
"Not all those who wander are lost..."
You are never lost just temporarily misplaced.
lonniebelle It is aimless. Having a destination means nothing. They have no legitimate goal for their traveling. There's no effect that provides anything legitimate or positive.
Bam!!!!
@@calmcuke6865 No one agreed with you😂🤔
Why would the Shackelford mom marry a guy that has no interest in her kids? Are sex and cigarettes really that important?
defyned lol
No but his money and house probably are
defyned because her ass is in la la land
Don't you realise that these shows are just actors playing a part. They say tv is larger than life. Purely for entertainment.
@@myroom800
No they are not. You're dumb. U know a family that was in wife swap.
Don't be so damn ignorant and dont pass your bs misinformation around...
Ppl like you are why the world is so stupid... they listen to ppl who have no idea what they are talking about...
Tasha can really sing! What a nice thing to hear! I wish I could sing like she can!
Wow what an amazing individual. It’s NOT easy to tell a stranger you could be a better mother. There’s no perfect parent out there. Just shows her true character times ten. Good for her.
Wow, this was a really nice episode. It wasn't all drama and conflict it was two families learning from each other. Good watch. Thank you for posting.
The Shakelford mother's humility was beautiful. Most people cant overcome this dissonance to really learn like that
We’ve been married 4 months. “I can’t honestly recall a single night we have spent apart.” Ummmm 🤔
MzClementine 😂😂😂😂
She must have the memory of a goldfish lmao
Husband should smoke some weed instead of cigarettes and expand his mind a bit! He has 3 wonderful daughters and no clue- Hope he chilled out a bit😎Looking forward to seeing his daughter blow up The Music biz! Maybe she can learn to yodel and join the O’Brien Family Band !! 🌟💟✨
Can we talk about the song written by the O'Brien mother for Family Talent Night?
"This is a song about someone getting sick and you know they're about to die..." Call me crazy, but I am not all of the way sure that selection should have been the tune to follow a 7 and 10 year olds musical act 🤔
we still laugh about this and tease her gently ; D
I think that’s why she forgot the song their faces when she said that. 😶🤭🤨
The Shakleford mother was so gracious in their conversation. She is so sweet and open.. I wish everyone were so eager to better themselves. She is awesome!
Y'all!! The O'Brian Family Band is still going too!! Idk that just makes me really happy
You make us happy!
Maura's comment about the 400lb woman was about god warrior wasn't it? haha :D
That's what I was thinking too kml
First thing that came to my mind when I heard her say it.....GOD WARRIOR!!!!!!!
I watched that episode just b4 this one... Epic comment!
God Warrior IS a legend.
A Weis l
Yikes! Mrs. O'Brien is a saint for putting up with Mr. Shackelford. Kyle, you have a marvelous family! Keep spreading your music around the world. :)
That girl can frikkin sing..had to hold back tears..reminded me of when my daughter first sang for me..blew me away ..made my heart flutter ..had me weak in the knees but I played that nonchalant reaction bc I was kinda ashamed to show my real emotion..I was totally blown lol..
a skeleton walks into a bar and says barkeep give me a beer and a mop
That's been one of my favorite jokes ever and no one ever laugh it takes the way too long to get it
It took me a minute, but when I got it, I got a good chuckle.
I don't get it?
ha ha I love it maybe telling it closer to halloween will help
Travis Hagan I'm stealing that from you but I'll give you credit😂
I had to look it up.
Girl - This skeleton walks into a bar and he says "Barkeep, give me a beer and a mop."
Mom - .....
Girl - A beer and a mop.
Mom - .....
Girl - A beer. And a mop. And it's a skeleton.
Lol i read your comment at the same time she told it
skeletons cant drink beer so they need the mop to clean it up @Tavon Fenwick
Too cute!!
@@LadyVSC13 i just presumed she got it but didnt find it funny lol
rudi hidvary hah! Now that's funny. 😂😂😂😂
Wowww...the way the well off woman portrayed herself @ the beginning... I thought was full of herself!! Buttt...she was awfully nice. I thought that she would look down on the RV ppl... but I was totally wrong. Even the dad did a quick turn around.
I would Luvvv too meet both families one day.
yeah I agree such nice people!
* Power if that's true what stops everyone else that has ever been on this show. I'd hate to see the "god warrior" when she isn't holding back?
Not everyone in the world is judgemental or close minded.
I thought the same thing
Tasha is really pretty
Tasha Shackelford is real good with her music. She is one talented singer-songwriter.
I choose the RV family. Maura and Kyle, are very sweet, respectful, intelligent and well spoken children. 💜💜💜
Kylie and Mauras reaction to the schools was so priceless 💕 I really loved all the kids and families 🙏
"I'm gonna be an adult!!"
"You can legally go to jail."
LMFAO
What he meant is legally he couldn’t anymore #creepervibes
For once, 2 nice mothers. Thank you for the editing
"Don't tell anyone about what you saw" bruh, wtf shady stuff is going on in your house when you have to tell a kid this?
AAC 229 🤣🤣 that’s one of the funniest parts
I’m saying. 🤨
Thats what I was thinking.
imagine if he was caught watching my little pony
This lengthy man lookin like danny tanner
I think these two families were actually both very nice and kind to each other and I was pleasantly surprised how the Shackleford dad took the hints ans tips from the O'Brian mum 🙏
The parenting class idea was great
I felt like the dad was holding back like he was definitely proud of her but at first he had a hard time expressing it. And after the whole group watched you could tell he had to get out of his little shell he is in. He was probably raised like me my dad never really said I love you much .never really had much expression .or expressed to the kids he was proud of us . But now that I’m older he tells me he’s proud of me it’s those old school dads .they have a hard time expressing to their children how proud they are it’s like a pride thing .
I cried on this one- the wives were so receptive to each other's observations.
Teaching your children as young as 7-10 about how to pick on political sides ALL THE WHILE influencing them to follow you is a load of crock. I don't want my kids getting involved in politics without their own wanting knowledge. It's not fair to sway them and that's just how I feel. Also peep how bad her younger kids are? I would have got my butt handed to me if I called my sister "the biggest but head" or "idiot"
I mean, I know editing is about showing some bad points but Tasha looked so sad that her dad wasn't even interested?
I remember being in 3rd grade and doing mock trials on voting. We had to pick if we were republican or democratic. Lol. God damn public schools!!
Exactly! My parents always made me debate the opposite standpoint of anything I said politically as a kid. They wanted me informed on all sides
I hope you apply that to the liberal school system that indoctrinates children. I blew up at a teacher for telling my son his ancestors weren't slaves in this country because they were white. That ignorant teacher got an education on the Irish that were hoarded up and sent to the colonies, not as indentured servants, but as property to be sold and even branded! When you teach only half truths to children it's absolutely indoctrinating them! Such as only one side of the man made global warming debate!
And you just know once then have to live on their own and realize from their mountains of student and credit card debt that they’ll be like, “What the hell were my parents talking about?!” Haha 😂 🤣
Two really nice families, I love Tosha’voice...WOW! The other family sure sing nice together and so talented with all the instruments they have learned to play.
This is one of the more wholesome episodes I’ve seen. Was so precious!
It's just no fun when they don't spend a few days living by each other's rules.
Oh everyone showed appreciation for her voice and vulnerability and they're all here watching so I better show up as a dad or I'll look like the asshole I am.....
I honestly cried at towards the end. Only because of the joy and excitement the kids had when they seen their Moms.
Makes me think of the kids who were waiting for their Moms to get home and they never did.
Cuz they were Dead, Locked up, or can't be found.
Dang went pretty dark there
I truly enjoyed the country music family they are so talented and in harmony.
I heard the 'MOM!' in the intro, and my instinct was instantly to go 'What?' out loud.
That girl has a BEAUTIFUL VOICE ❤
No wonder Craig was recently divorced...
Very insecure and vile toad of a "man"
Where can I see that 😱
OH MAN i love when children or something from the episode their family was in is active on the youtube community yaaaaaas kyle yaaaaas
Craig doesn't seem happy with life in general. Something heavy is on that mans mind..look at his eyes, body-language .hectic.
I think he needs to be exorcised. For demons.
It's like he's forgotten how to smile and laugh...I hope whatever was burdening him is long behind him now. His face when he let himself appreciate Tasha's singing was completely different. It was almost like he needed permission to be enthusiastic.
I think it's all about MONEY. You heard their debt, putting $40 THOUSAND towards their credit card debt?!?! I bet he woes people with his fake persona of being rich and famous.
He's got bodies buried in 3 states....
Veronica Kavanagh 😂 wouldn't doubt it!
All the shows should be this good. One of my favorite
I like these 2 ladies and their children... they well all be ok!!!
"This is my first song its probably not that good"
Um okay girl i see ya
At least Craig said he was trying to change and didn't object to the class. Gotta give him some credit
What else could he say when he’s being called out on national tv. So no you don’t have to give him credit. He’s a total douche and I would be SHOCKED if he changed one bit. He was trying to save face is all
Moral of the story - music brings people together.
Lovely families both of them! No one is perfect and we can all improve. Anyone who looks at themselves and finds that they are perfect are those who are the least perfect! Both husbands were great as well as their wives!
Maura explaining that skeleton joke to a clueless Michelle was priceless. That was a funny joke in one sentence. What a nice episode of this show. So much love in both families.
Tasha is and awesome talent! Chase that dream and don't let anyone stop you, you have a wonderful voice!
What does 2.5 children mean?
Cherita Hoosier the .5 child is her stepdaughter since it's not her "real daughter "
Via B NO. Its saying. When you look up stats the average family is said to have "2.5" children meaning 2 or 3
Cherita Hoosier I thought they were counting the dog lol
esta de jong eh?
It’s an expression she’s saying she has an average life and family..
Awww that was nice to see craig show his support when his daughter was singing.. i saw the pride in his eyes.. theres a good guy tucked in there...
Pretty sure he wiped away a tear the first time he heard it
What a lucky family, the RV family! Daughter has beautiful voice too!! Love the old man dancing!
Tasha has extra beautiful voice!! Wow!
I've barely started this video and when I heard Michelle say that she had the perfect family I thought 'uh oh'. Okay, now to continue with this video...😃
The little O'Brien girl is so damn cute, that little tie and button up top with her baseball cap 😁
BOTH MOMS ARE AWESOME SUCH RESPECT BOTH WAYS
The dad’s face every time Tasha sings 😭😭 he’s so stank
He looked to me to be really depressed I bet with him getting the money to pay off credit card debt it will enlighten the whole family
Spot on. I heard that most of it went to debt , and i went "oh there it is..." the reason, that being, for the indifference..
"That girl singing. I want you to know" is absolutely amazing and very talented but then dad says,"K, I'm going to chain smoke for a while". It's really nice to see how supportive he is.
I’d love to have a dog - literally the only thing I could take away too!
The 17 year old was actually really good!!!
This a good example of how home schooling works well. Ill bet that those RV kids have more knowledge of the real world than most "normal" school kids. The kids seem well rounded, not socially-awkward like the stereo-type would have you believe.
Why is that little girl such a good country singer tho? I'm not even that big on country music, but damn
Wow, you could still smoke at the counter of the restaurant!
the o'brien mom handles that breakfast discussion so well.... i would have lost it lol
Leia Skidgel yeah I’d say so..... I suppose being a teacher or ex teacher you kinda have to be.
