I recently threw together a gold farm that goes cobble > gravel > sand > soulsand > quartz > diorite > granite > red sand > gold nuggets. the most sane create mod production line lmao.
During the summer break I made a farm that can make basically everything that create can "create." It has around 20 different farms, everything gets used to it's full capacity and everything gets transported around by trains (that go through the nether to save space). The only problem was the amount of lag that the cobble machines produced. For reference they're about twice the size of the ones Rage uses and I had 4 of them. Each one of them used around 8ish frames so my fps went from the usual 70fps to 40ish fps (not including the other farms). I might make a video about it in the future but school is using all of my time currently.
Belts and depots you can put a fan above and below to wash or cook things twice as fast. This video is ridiculous and funny. Why? That's my only question. Good video.

You would love create new age if you don’t have it already you don’t need shafts all you need are the power lines it gives you and then use motors that connect to the wires
Just in case you ever need to clear another big body of water: passive boiler is exactly enough for 2 mechanical pumps at max speed. And even passive boiler will happily accept all water from those pumps. Which means, that after you jumpstart it with crank you get self-powered water voiding setup.
Hey Rage, in order to power up the blaze burners with lava you need to give the blaze burners a straw first to allow you to pump lava directly to them.
Yea, unfortunately that requires another addon for the straws (I think?) so i am deciding if I want to add that or not. I think a lot of Create addons are super cool, but i am a big fan of just base Create as well :)
9:41 Very tiny detail that doesn't matter too much, but I see the way you have that water logged brass funnel, and 2 fans washing on the block that the funnel occupies. If you right click the funnel with a wrench it will make it occupy the entire block so that those two fans can go and the funnel doesn't have to be water logged and look weird. Also since you are making the same design multiple times, unless you just really enjoy building the same thing like that you could just use the schematicannon to copy it.
A thing about basins, if you dont attach a funnel on the side of a belt, itll spit out the finished product and with a filter on the basin itll make the correct item
Thats very true! Part of why I did it is because I liked having it match the input side, which needs the funnel, but also because if the system gets backed up and the basin crafting finishes it can fail the auto outputting when the backup is fixed. Definitely not required tho and a waste of resources 99.9% of the time lol.
Whoever said base Create has liquid blaze burning is wrong. Create Crafts and Additions adds the Straw which does liquid blaze burning, but a few other Create addons allow pumping fluid right into the blaze burner, too.
When i did it, i haunted the sand, then washed it. I didnt know that you can take the spare clay, turn it into terracota, to red sand, and into even more gold. With my addition your farm would also make nether quartz in large quantities

I think there is a create addon that ads a craftable straw to the game, if you give a BB a straw it allows you to pump fluid directly into the BB. this might be what had the other commenters confused
I’ve been following the series and I’d love to see you use AE2 either in this pack or your next. It’s my favorite high tech mod to pair with Create. It’s rewarding but takes a while to get into and feels balanced.

I know a lot of people share the opinion I should have used it, but I feel it cheapens the video if 90% of it is me watching something build for me. I will say though if people truly wanna watch that I'd love it because it would make pumping out videos require almost 0 work on my end lol.

I see Schematicannon as a better way to make videos more often and of better quality with larger builds or at least with tileable items it doesn't look like you're physically in pain from carpal tunnel or having to complain about doing it 6 times over. Though I guess it does prevent 20 tile mega structures that crash your world on load up.
You shouldn't, that is a base Create mod recipe so it's probably another mod or specific setting that is removing it. I know some modpacks do that because they view it as overpowered.
16x16x16 cube of any fluid with a pump going to the bottom makes create count it as infinite. no water generator, no lava generator. just cube of fluid.

You should install Create : Stuff And Additions and it adds a jetpack that's very useful but not also too overpowered.
I'll definitely give it a look! The jetpack would have been super nice for the second layer of gold farms in this build.
