I said it on FB but I have to say it again. I'm so happy to see you have the new machine and you have safe, dependable engine to be out there! I'll share pics and updates on the rebuild of my old 1996 Johnson outboard here in Texas. We all love watching you here in Fort Worth and I love how far you are going to go! Keep bringing us the videos since we can't travel there ourselves. See ya! Blair and Janie in Texas!
looks like great boat! I love the size, something most cars can toe. I am looking into building a boat kit atm, similar size. Could you be so kind and tell what kind screws and bolts were use into the aluminum for many things here ? Are they galvanised? Stainless ? Aluminum? If not aluminum, any concerns about galvanic corrosion?
Second this also can you break down the build prices like how much the trailer cost and why you went for that design and that motor a video something like that
Thanks mate! And yeah I might do a rundown of this over on Instagram. It’s hard to say with this build as a lot of variables. Came starts at around the high 50s then goes up once you start adding stuff 🙌
Length, width, weight? Wish all reviews started with that basic info OR at least, had the info somewhere. I also note it is not on the side of the boat as part of it's graphics. "Tremor 480"?? How about Tremor 16--or 18, or 21, or whatever it is? OK, I heard it at 4.14, "4.8 meter", just shy of 16 feet.
Hey mate this has to be one of the most amazing built boats I’ve seen like you said everything is made to be easy access on this boat so if something did go wrong you wouldn’t have to worry about tight spaces and stuff like that amazing once again thanks for the vid guys will have to definitely speak to the boys about this one
Is there a reason you’ve avoided all the questions regarding cost? I get that this build is sponsored but giving an indicator of price would be very helpful
Hey mate! Told people to message on Instagram. Easier to judge how serious someone is with a call. Looking for 70k. And build us owned outright by me now
It’s a very nicely designed and built boat. When you say it can be built to survey standards, that’s well and good, but I’m not seeing much if any safety equipment at all? Where’s the navigation lights? Stern light? Anchor light? Fire extinguisher? Epirb? All this stuff should be visibly located for fast easy access. No mention of glass encapsulated buoyancy foam under floor, no life ring even. Bilge pumps? Manual & electric? Emergency radios and aerials? Horn? To me it looks like more attention has been paid to a fancy sound system - than to safety equipment that might be the difference between coming home alive than not coming home at all. I’m more impressed by a boat builder that pays more attention to making a safe boat than a fancy party boat with fancy blue disco lights underneath the water and a disco sound system on board. Maybe they should get qualified Mariners to give video run downs on their vessels, who actually know what systems and equipment a boat should have to meet survey standards? How big is the fuel tank? What range does it get with that outboard? What’s Max knots at WOT? What’s it weigh all up on the trailer (so you can tell if your car / suv can legally tow it. How many passengers can it legally carry? Does it pass a standard incline stability test at rest? You seem more impressed by incidental “nice to have” features like storage and live bait well etc and ignore all the questions any potential boat buyer would want to know. My 2c
Hey Ian, Thanks for the message. I can answer all of those questions for you. This isn’t a video Maurtech has requested to have filmed. This is my take on the boat and a rundown that I have created. I’m sure contacting Maurtech would give you a greater in detail rundown 👍 All anchor lights/ nav lights are placed on hard top as you can see in footage. Epirb/ fire extinguisher is under dash. Bilge pump is fitted both on switch and automatic if detects water. Floor is fitted with positive buoyant foam completed sealed deck. Ariels are on the roof of boat with radios mounted easy access in cockpit. No horn as this boat doesn’t require This boat runs a 90hp outboard from mercury. Fuel economy was not mentioned in video as I had only been out on the boat for two days so it would be inaccurate. I can say that after owning the boat for two weeks it is extremely capable vessel. At the moment I have done multiple trips in open ocean to some islands well offshore and I am very impressed. The boat has 145l on board. Sitting at 5000 revs there and back clocking up over 100km distance we managed to only use 90l of fuel. This is including a full day of trolling. (I’ll do a more accurate reading at some stage). Again this boat rundown or release is a video for my current viewers hence the format. If you have any further questions feel free to contact Maurtech Marine. They are very smart in what they do. I have spoken to commercial fisherman and recreational Maurtech owners before my purchase and can say that I have never met someone with a complaint. Again, Thanks for feedback Jamie
Seriously, it's the best boat I've seen in this size...congrats!

The biggest question would be how much is it worth set up like that?
I see your important question has been avoided.
Thanks. That's what I wanted to know, no need to watch vid now

Who tattooed the Bert and Ernie eyebrows on you dude.?
My mum hahha
Well you should have some fun with that boat. Now get out there and make some vids
How does one afford such a boat
The big question, how much did you pay?
Aluminium? 😂
Letsgoooo
Yewwww
That thing is like 90k 😂
Where is Gazza?
Hiding
Sorry to burst your bubble mate but it is such a shame that the welds are so terrible and those cleats are super dangerous on a moving boat.
Great informative video....but.... you lose me every now and then.....what is a specky?.......what is a tazzy?.....
$$$ ?
He said “side pockets”. They’re called gunnels bruv😂
No hate, but search "what is a gunnel"
First
Legend!
What's the price?
The website doesn't work 🤷🏽🤌🏽
