Okay for most of their songs the choreographer is Son Song Deuk & Keone Madrid, keeping in mind it was in order of difficulty not in order of release, the dance to I am bulletproof and no more dreams that you were in awe of were at their debut in 2013. So right out the gate they did those dances. One thing about Kpop its both good and bad is they are very syncronized in timing when dancing, its common in Kpop groups even to the point of annoying and not original at times. Thankfully BTS choreographers keep them syncronised and yet change up the styles.
Son Sung Deuk choreographed most dances until 2015 when the song "Dope"was choreographed by Keone Madrid, who also did the choreo after that for many of BTS songs like "Fire", & "Blood, Sweat, & Tears as well as I believe "Not Today". But it was Rie Hata who was the one who did the choreography for "Mic Drop". "Airplane pt.2", and "Anpanman". There were many other great choreographers who also did the choreo for certain songs. Like Brian Puspos who did the amazingly beautiful choreo for both "Butterfly" and especially did the choreography for "Serendipity" for Jimin who he's worked with several times before for Jimin's solo's that Brian did the original choreo for. They are quite close friends, having a mutual respect, love, & admiration for each other!
They are that good because J-Hope, a sub-choreographer of the group, he feels that you have to show that you love what you do when you perform. He also values precision to help deliver the impact of the song. They also go to different venues to practice the choreography so they can gauge space and timing. Their main choreographer has been with them since the beginning so they have that extra bond where he knows what they can do and what new things to try per song. I'm a new fan of your videos btw.

Spring Day choreography is difficult not only to execute correctly, but express the emotions of the song. Jimin’s movements are particularly fluid and beautiful. Every member does an amazing job. Butterfly and Baepsae are my other favorites. :) In general, the dance aspect of kpop is another huge component that people miss out on if they don’t explore the genre. I’m glad you enjoy watching BTS’ dance videos. (Definitely check out other groups if you can, in both music and choreo.)
I’m rewatching this and just to mention, that hat move at 5:38, Jimin didn’t actually throw the hat, he just pretended to throw and Jungkook (yes that one with the two hats was Jungkook) just had another hat on him. Usually when they do this performance they have a hat on the floor for Jungkook to grab before the dance break, and leading up to the dance break there are actually videos of them swiftly passing the microphone to each other on stage.
Fun fact: in we are bulletproof dance break Jimin didn't throw the hat to jungkook, he pretended throwing it to jk and then jk comes out having his own hat.. it was so well done that we didn't notice that!!

The best part is their transition, they move so fast and so easy.. sometimes We cant even notice who is moving where...they change positions very often.. since they sing while dancing.. singer will be positioned in the center no matter what!!!! So cool !!
@@kirajo5156 the jumps are SO hard to clean. To have everyone come down so synchronized like that and have it sound like one person, is SO difficult to clean. The rest may be easy enough to master quickly, but that one thing is impressive.
If this is already amazes you by just how they look/how you see this short clips. Then i think you also must know that atleast 4 members had no dancing background when they joined BTS. And yet here they are killing it and managing to keep up with the other 3 and making it seamless. These people work their ass since day 1. To the point that they confessed having to practice 12hrs+ daily just to make sure everything is well done and perfect for the ARMYS. And that hasn't changed up until now despite their success. You can even see the members practicing on their own during tours on their own rooms at times too. They ain't about to laze around. Goes to show how dedicted, passionate and serious they really are for.what they do and shows their work ethics.
When you guys were talking about them performing live, I just couldnt help myself. I've been to 2 of their concerts already and I'm going to one this year whenever they reschedule their tour. It truly is amazing. Just utterly amazing. They put so much effort into their performances and they are just so good to watch. I really recommend it. If you ever have the chance to go to a BTS concert, go. You wont regret anything. The atmosphere is great, the singing and dancing, and just being there in the room with them. It's magical

He has an award from the Minister of Korea for his work and is the only Korean Chorographer to tour America. When Suga was in the hospital he took his spot. 2. Keone and Mari Madrid is responsible for the choreography of BTS' songs "Dope," "Not Today," "Fire," and they also helped with "DNA and Blood Sweat & Tears." They also are behind V's "Singularity" dance. 3. Quick Style Crew who come from 2009 Norway's Got Talent" They created the dances for "Save Me," part of "Blood Sweat & Tears." 4. Rita Hata did "Anpanman," "Airplane pt.2," and "Mic Drop." 5. David Lim "Boy With Luv" 6. Carlo Darang assisted with Dope 7. Christopher Martin did most of "DNA" 8. I love how they use dance and the sound of their music to captivate people. For someone like me and I imagine most other people who don’t speak Korean (yet) the music and overall performance has to hold you. They have also mastered the feel of their dances being so tight and synchronised but they can also break off in the middle of a dance and make it look so hip hop casual for a couple seconds where they are all doing their own thing then BAM their back in sync cracking down on the tight moves again. Absolute perfection in every sense.
When you watch them dance or sing, it looks so effortless, so easy, so perfect, yet they are rumored to practice up to 16 hours per day. I would assume that the only one who has it relatively easy now when it comes to dancing is J-Hope. That guy is personification of dance per se, he learns all their dance choreos really quick and when he dances it looks almost unreal how fluid and good he is at it. We can all enjoy results of their hard work, when everything is polished and perfected, but to see the other side of the coin would be interesting as well. They work so hard, and they are true professionals but witnessing the dark side of the Kpop business can be heartbreaking as well. If you would be up to, you can maybe dig deeper and react to "BTS being tired, hurt and injured" videos. There are few of those on YT. Not easy or glamorous to watch but to get the full grasp of what they have to endure to reach the level they are at, and to appreciate them even more, it is a must for all Army. You can see them virtually falling asleep while their make up is being done or hair getting dry blown, that´s how sleep deprived or tired they can get; you can see them performing with injuries; you can see recorded fan cams segments of life performances at various reward events during which they do 2-3 songs in a row, giving it all, then stage lighting goes out and you see their silhouettes dropping to ground, drenched in sweat, exhausted, almost unable to walk away; you can see JK collapsing and getting ventilated in Chile, V getting Jin´s assistance at the end DNA life performance so he doesn´t collapse on stage. It is a tough life and not all of it is shiny and glamorous. It makes me love them even more:-) To end on a lighter note though - as everybody already suggested in the comment section, your reaction to Jimin´s dance solos would be great, I would however propose something less conventional - could your sister, given she has a dance background herself, possibly have a closer look at Suga´s dancing? The guy is basically invisible in many´s eyes. He is one of the rapers, the one with self-proclaimed very blasé attitude towards dancing, with almost nobody paying attention to him during dancing drills, everybody´s attention directed to the dance line. Suga is usually somewhere in the background most of the time, and yet, I find him absolutely fascinating to watch when he dances. I think he is incredibly natural and gifted and seeing someone noticing him and reacting to him as well would be very much appreciated:-) Keep rocking guys, you two are such a fun to watch. ( ... and wishes of healthy, smooth pregnancy to your beautiful sister...)
It's like militaristic in their steps and moves. If you listen very carefully during their dance practices they are even in step. Being a veteran in the U.S. military and having to do many military parade drills this is what this reminds me of. That type of precision. This is military precision right here. The way they transition and move from fluid movements to the more powerful moves they do are done with such precision and synchronicity. I absolutely love BTS and am always impressed with their dancing and how synchronized they can be and are. It's really hard to describe. I used the military and the drills that we do to compare their synchronization. There are other groups who are amazing dancers, but BTS is most definitely on another level when it comes to their dancing.
I think that people in the West don't realise (like you say) how little effort the western artists put in compared to these kpop guys who have on top of just singing and looking nice and memorising the lyrics to (7 albums+) songs, memorising choreo for tons of dances while being able to perform them to pro-dancer level quality while singing live, then on top having to know multiple languages and lyrics to their songs in multiple languages and remix versions and extra dance breaks, producing and writing their own songs etc etc etc like honestly, it's mind blowing how much harder these guys have to work just to get the same sort of recognition as western artists that just have to worry about getting on stage and lip syncing their own songs.... insane! So happy to hear someone like yourself admitting these things
In K-pop or in idol training you enter very young and then you debut. You HAVE insane practice hours and you all live in dorms. When you debut you have to pull in the numbers and if you are male you have to build up the most fame and money that you can before you have to do army service for 18 months so all the kids are cross trained in acting, dance, vocals, and taking several language classes for when you tour in all the Asian countries, on top of that to get you out there you are constantly booked on variety shows and teen shows. Your work hours and the time you are with your fellow members is much like their school training where you go to school at 5 am and then have dinner break and return to school or a haguan for constant studying.
If u look very, very closely at jimin in bulletproof pt 2, u will see that he was holding the hat the entire time. He will put it on his head after him jumping over J-Hope
For them to hit the ground at the exact same time they have to jump to the exact same height because their weight won’t effect how fast they land. So when you break it down their synchronicity is beyond belief.
To answer your question... J-hope and Jimin are professionally trained in dance but other choreographers are involved Bts is pretty much hands on in every aspect like how RM and Suga produce and help in the writing process. So are the rest of the members.
5:52 Idk if someone has already commented this, but when you were talking about getting the hat thrown at you, Jimin (the one who 'threw' the hat) never actually did. He made it such a fast and sharp movement that it looked like he threw it right into Jungkook's (the one who caught it) hand. Jungkook had two hats and Jimin kept his because during Jungkook's dance break, you can see Jimin putting the same hat back on in the background. He didn't get it from the two boys next to him because neither moved, and dance practices are almost always shot in one go. I get why you would be shocked by the movement though. I was too 😅
for me Danger, the solo parts in We are bulletproof pt 2, and the hook move in Fire are the hardest. i mean i cant dance most of it but these wow me every time. Never gets old.
I have an extremely low dance IQ I am sure but I know what I like. My all time favorite dance performance of theirs is Intro Performance Trailer. Basically it was a piece they created and performed at an end of the year show. The camera work was so bad that BTS decided to do the performance and film it from 3 different angles to show that anything would have been better than what that camera man did. You should definitely check it out and watch to the end. My favorite choreography of one of their songs is Blood Sweat and Tears

BTS used to practice 10-15 hours a day during their training and early years. now since they're too busy, they could only spent upto 6 hours every dance practice. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!

I’ve actually learnt the choreos for Idol, Fire, and Blood Sweat and Tears. Fire and BST were so difficult. Fire is so fast is hard to keep up with everything on tempo and BST has so much body corporality that I have to really get into it but there’s also a lot of moves and sequence so I have to make sure that I’m still focused to be able to remember the next move. But they are really fun to dance to.

Kpop training is CRAZY, they train for years, and companies have a good eye for talent! I also recommend watching SEVENTEENS compilation! They’re known for their synchronization and super hard dancing!
Most Kpop Idols have to train for years, most people train for a decade。 They usually audition when they're about 11 and then train till they debut which is when they're roughly 20. But Junkook (a member of BTS) was a prodigy and debuted when he was 16 years old.
Honestly as naturally this video couldn't show all of their choreographies in their entirety it's just a small tip of their talent, so it would be nice if you would react to Jimin Solo Dance Compilation by GoldenJimin next please. I think both of you will like it.
If you watch carefully when Jimin looks as if he is throwing his hat to Jungkook, Jungkook actually has 2 hats in his hand. Which takes some serious timing to make the “slight of hand” move so realistic. However, as you watch the next frame of the full choreography, you see Jimin putting his hat on and Jungkook throwing one hat to one side and another hat to the other side. They didn’t try to hide it either. Quite an impressive dance move!!!
Ok. @ 5:37, it's a trick. The dancer never throws the hat, if you notice, he pretends to do so, he does it so fast, you might miss it if you're not paying attention. As he moves, you notice him putting on the hat and the other dancer already had 2 on his hands and later throws one to the side. Because of their impecable coordination, you might have thought he threw the hat and the other one caught it. Not that they could not pull it off but this way it's bulletproof and guarantees a perfect catch every time during their live performances.
Actually in No More Dream, they weren't all professional dancers since that was their debut song and choreo. And to answer ur question, jhope usually create the dances.

well rm was the first member in 2010 so 3 years or less for all the members(not that many yearsss). practicing most of the day though.
The best part is their transition, they move so fast and so easy.. sometimes We cant even notice who is moving where...they change positions very often.. since they sing while dancing.. singer will be positioned in the center no matter what!!!! So cool !!
You know the ranking isn't accurate when Danger is #10. Should be in the top 5 for sure

and that choreo is surprisingly easy to master!! I had it down pat in only 3 hours and im not that good of a dancer😅😅
@@kirajo5156 the jumps are SO hard to clean. To have everyone come down so synchronized like that and have it sound like one person, is SO difficult to clean. The rest may be easy enough to master quickly, but that one thing is impressive.

If this is already amazes you by just how they look/how you see this short clips. Then i think you also must know that atleast 4 members had no dancing background when they joined BTS. And yet here they are killing it and managing to keep up with the other 3 and making it seamless. These people work their ass since day 1. To the point that they confessed having to practice 12hrs+ daily just to make sure everything is well done and perfect for the ARMYS. And that hasn't changed up until now despite their success. You can even see the members practicing on their own during tours on their own rooms at times too. They ain't about to laze around. Goes to show how dedicted, passionate and serious they really are for.what they do and shows their work ethics.

When you guys were talking about them performing live, I just couldnt help myself. I've been to 2 of their concerts already and I'm going to one this year whenever they reschedule their tour. It truly is amazing. Just utterly amazing. They put so much effort into their performances and they are just so good to watch. I really recommend it. If you ever have the chance to go to a BTS concert, go. You wont regret anything. The atmosphere is great, the singing and dancing, and just being there in the room with them. It's magical

He has an award from the Minister of Korea for his work and is the only Korean Chorographer to tour America. When Suga was in the hospital he took his spot.
2. Keone and Mari Madrid is responsible for the choreography of BTS' songs "Dope," "Not Today," "Fire," and they also helped with "DNA and Blood Sweat & Tears." They also are behind V's "Singularity" dance.

I love how they use dance and the sound of their music to captivate people. For someone like me and I imagine most other people who don’t speak Korean (yet) the music and overall performance has to hold you. They have also mastered the feel of their dances being so tight and synchronised but they can also break off in the middle of a dance and make it look so hip hop casual for a couple seconds where they are all doing their own thing then BAM their back in sync cracking down on the tight moves again. Absolute perfection in every sense.

When you watch them dance or sing, it looks so effortless, so easy, so perfect, yet they are rumored to practice up to 16 hours per day. I would assume that the only one who has it relatively easy now when it comes to dancing is J-Hope. That guy is personification of dance per se, he learns all their dance choreos really quick and when he dances it looks almost unreal how fluid and good he is at it.
We can all enjoy results of their hard work, when everything is polished and perfected, but to see the other side of the coin would be interesting as well. They work so hard, and they are true professionals but witnessing the dark side of the Kpop business can be heartbreaking as well.
If you would be up to, you can maybe dig deeper and react to "BTS being tired, hurt and injured" videos. There are few of those on YT. Not easy or glamorous to watch but to get the full grasp of what they have to endure to reach the level they are at, and to appreciate them even more, it is a must for all Army. You can see them virtually falling asleep while their make up is being done or hair getting dry blown, that´s how sleep deprived or tired they can get; you can see them performing with injuries; you can see recorded fan cams segments of life performances at various reward events during which they do 2-3 songs in a row, giving it all, then stage lighting goes out and you see their silhouettes dropping to ground, drenched in sweat, exhausted, almost unable to walk away; you can see JK collapsing and getting ventilated in Chile, V getting Jin´s assistance at the end DNA life performance so he doesn´t collapse on stage. It is a tough life and not all of it is shiny and glamorous. It makes me love them even more:-)
To end on a lighter note though - as everybody already suggested in the comment section, your reaction to Jimin´s dance solos would be great, I would however propose something less conventional - could your sister, given she has a dance background herself, possibly have a closer look at Suga´s dancing? The guy is basically invisible in many´s eyes. He is one of the rapers, the one with self-proclaimed very blasé attitude towards dancing, with almost nobody paying attention to him during dancing drills, everybody´s attention directed to the dance line. Suga is usually somewhere in the background most of the time, and yet, I find him absolutely fascinating to watch when he dances. I think he is incredibly natural and gifted and seeing someone noticing him and reacting to him as well would be very much appreciated:-)

It's like militaristic in their steps and moves. If you listen very carefully during their dance practices they are even in step. Being a veteran in the U.S. military and having to do many military parade drills this is what this reminds me of. That type of precision. This is military precision right here. The way they transition and move from fluid movements to the more powerful moves they do are done with such precision and synchronicity. I absolutely love BTS and am always impressed with their dancing and how synchronized they can be and are. It's really hard to describe. I used the military and the drills that we do to compare their synchronization. There are other groups who are amazing dancers, but BTS is most definitely on another level when it comes to their dancing.

I think that people in the West don't realise (like you say) how little effort the western artists put in compared to these kpop guys who have on top of just singing and looking nice and memorising the lyrics to (7 albums+) songs, memorising choreo for tons of dances while being able to perform them to pro-dancer level quality while singing live, then on top having to know multiple languages and lyrics to their songs in multiple languages and remix versions and extra dance breaks, producing and writing their own songs etc etc etc like honestly, it's mind blowing how much harder these guys have to work just to get the same sort of recognition as western artists that just have to worry about getting on stage and lip syncing their own songs.... insane! So happy to hear someone like yourself admitting these things

In K-pop or in idol training you enter very young and then you debut. You HAVE insane practice hours and you all live in dorms. When you debut you have to pull in the numbers and if you are male you have to build up the most fame and money that you can before you have to do army service for 18 months so all the kids are cross trained in acting, dance, vocals, and taking several language classes for when you tour in all the Asian countries, on top of that to get you out there you are constantly booked on variety shows and teen shows. Your work hours and the time you are with your fellow members is much like their school training where you go to school at 5 am and then have dinner break and return to school or a haguan for constant studying.
If u look very, very closely at jimin in bulletproof pt 2, u will see that he was holding the hat the entire time. He will put it on his head after him jumping over J-Hope
For them to hit the ground at the exact same time they have to jump to the exact same height because their weight won’t effect how fast they land. So when you break it down their synchronicity is beyond belief.
To answer your question... J-hope and Jimin are professionally trained in dance but other choreographers are involved
Bts is pretty much hands on in every aspect like how RM and Suga produce and help in the writing process. So are the rest of the members.

5:52 Idk if someone has already commented this, but when you were talking about getting the hat thrown at you, Jimin (the one who 'threw' the hat) never actually did. He made it such a fast and sharp movement that it looked like he threw it right into Jungkook's (the one who caught it) hand. Jungkook had two hats and Jimin kept his because during Jungkook's dance break, you can see Jimin putting the same hat back on in the background. He didn't get it from the two boys next to him because neither moved, and dance practices are almost always shot in one go. I get why you would be shocked by the movement though. I was too 😅

I have an extremely low dance IQ I am sure but I know what I like. My all time favorite dance performance of theirs is Intro Performance Trailer. Basically it was a piece they created and performed at an end of the year show. The camera work was so bad that BTS decided to do the performance and film it from 3 different angles to show that anything would have been better than what that camera man did. You should definitely check it out and watch to the end. My favorite choreography of one of their songs is Blood Sweat and Tears

I’ve actually learnt the choreos for Idol, Fire, and Blood Sweat and Tears. Fire and BST were so difficult. Fire is so fast is hard to keep up with everything on tempo and BST has so much body corporality that I have to really get into it but there’s also a lot of moves and sequence so I have to make sure that I’m still focused to be able to remember the next move. But they are really fun to dance to.

Kpop training is CRAZY, they train for years, and companies have a good eye for talent! I also recommend watching SEVENTEENS compilation! They’re known for their synchronization and super hard dancing!
Most Kpop Idols have to train for years, most people train for a decade。 They usually audition when they're about 11 and then train till they debut which is when they're roughly 20. But Junkook (a member of BTS) was a prodigy and debuted when he was 16 years old.

If you watch carefully when Jimin looks as if he is throwing his hat to Jungkook, Jungkook actually has 2 hats in his hand. Which takes some serious timing to make the “slight of hand” move so realistic. However, as you watch the next frame of the full choreography, you see Jimin putting his hat on and Jungkook throwing one hat to one side and another hat to the other side. They didn’t try to hide it either. Quite an impressive dance move!!!
Ok. @ 5:37, it's a trick. The dancer never throws the hat, if you notice, he pretends to do so, he does it so fast, you might miss it if you're not paying attention. As he moves, you notice him putting on the hat and the other dancer already had 2 on his hands and later throws one to the side. Because of their impecable coordination, you might have thought he threw the hat and the other one caught it. Not that they could not pull it off but this way it's bulletproof and guarantees a perfect catch every time during their live performances.
Actually in No More Dream, they weren't all professional dancers since that was their debut song and choreo. And to answer ur question, jhope usually create the dances.
