I love that you are not doing a Dio impression, but still singing with the same power and force and voice projection.
Dio is my favorite singer/songwriter of all time. When I hear people cover his material, it always falls short for me, because the bar is set so high. Erik, you are the FIRST I've ever heard to do justice to Dio. Absolutely nailed it. The vibrato, tone, and pitch are spot-on. I would love for you to do the entire Heaven & Hell album this is so good!! How about Children of the Sea?

I've heard just two singers doing this with such strength clarity and ease. You don't have to worry about if he's able to make it through the next line. The other now is Erik and the first was the late great Ray Gillen. Absolutely marvelous job!

ERIK- This song came out when I was 12 years old, and I LOVED it (and the video as you could see a closeup of the guitar solo!!). I appreciated Ronnie's singing more than Ozzy as it was more Operatic, and the lyrics were CLEARLY heard... YOU did a PHENOMENAL job my friend in capturing the ESSENCE of the song, I never heard any cover so well done!!! The guitar/bass/drum work was pretty damn great as well. ***I just subscribed!!!***
