Flixbus is decent until that 3 hour mark I've found, then they're just uncomfortable. You were quite lucky with your fellow passengers. I've had absolutely selfish, loud and smelly folks as fellow passengers which made a 3 hour ride feel like a 6 hour ride. They should really start charging smelly passengers more when the chauffeur checks your ticket. 😂 Fixed fee of €5. Here's hoping that nightbus you mentioned arrives sooner rather than later (no pun intended). The ones in Japan are amazing! Good video!
Thanks for this video! I've once took the overnight flixbus between Berlin and Amsterdam and I definitley agree with you. There was no wifi on board during the whole trip and the seats were really uncomfortable to sleep on! I'd rather would take the train to countries nearby me.
Disabled or not you got to Paris safely, it was a cheap trip and you are still alive to tell the story and get money from Adsense and some ebegging too. How lovely.
Main reason Flixbus is expanding a lot in the UK is because of the endless rail disruption we are experiencing. The disruption has now lasted more than one year.
@@Reens-Rails Yes in UK there have been strikes etc on and off (now and again) since June 2022. Govt will not negotiate. Another RMT strike on July 29. ASLEF union is to ban worker overtime next week which might mean some cancellations.
I've taken a 19h flixbus trip from Nancy France to Nice France passing through Switzerland and Italy via Milan and back. I really don't remember that much negative other than it was late and the wifi was sketchy. Other than that it was an awesome trip, wasn't bored for a minute and I barely used my tablet, but I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes traveling in buses so make of that what you will.😅
We have now been waiting for the bus for more than an hour and ten minutes and it has not come, and when the tickets are cut, the funny thing is that one of the slogans of this company is punctuality, hahaha. 😂😂😂😂
Flixbus is good for trips with 3-4h duration Btw there is a line starting from Dortmund crossing Germany,Belgium,France,Spain and Portugal with 37h duration 😂
About to travel to Gdansk in a weeks time. We bought our tickets more than a month prior and after 2-3 weeks that ride was canceled so we had to change to inconvenient times and we will have to change buses in Warsaw. So I'm a but nervous, because I'm starting to hear more about inconveniences with FlixBus.
Well if you want extra space, you can buy seat next to you, so you have extra free seat to have more space or put some backpack. I travelled few times from Zagreb to Salzburg and you can do that way
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. I really feel it would be helpful for a budget traveler like me. I had a good experience traveling around the UK in May 2024. I took one long journey from London to Edinburgh. I would say it's worth the budget-friendly cost to travel between these two cities. It would be great to prepare for travel with suggestions like carrying an eye mask and travel pillow, which would help you have at least a good experience. I am planning to travel next month to Europe and I really want to use FlixBus to move around at least three European countries. So I think I would go with the FlixBus option. However, I need to do a bit more research to see if I can get a low-budget airline or if I need to choose FlixBus. I am too afraid to go ahead with train journeys as they seem way too expensive. Do you have any advice, tips, or suggestions? I am planning to travel to Switzerland, then Salzburg, Munich, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, the UK, and Ireland. Any suggestions and tips would be really appreciated.
Small tip if waiting at the station they leave from, across the road is a fire station place that had good stuff to look at whilst waiting on the bus. I done the overnight flixbus amsterdam to dortmund and the noisiest people on board was the driver and drivers mate, absolute joke.
This company is completely garbage. My bf was travelling to Buffalo airport from Toronto and the bus broke down at the US-Canadian border. This company hired clowns as customer service representatives who hung up on her when she called and refused to give her a refund. She had to spend almost $100 for Uber to the airport and had to pay extra to move her flight. I did my research and heard this is quite common with flix as well as peoples luggages getting stolen and unsafe drivers. I have encouraged her to file a law suit as they left her stranded in the middle of nowhere and she missed her flight. I pray everyday this trash company goes out of business
Flixbus in Brazil is not cheap anymore and lousy buses. No wifi also, they keeping changing departure time and a lot of delay. For me, no more Flixbus...
I have booked tickets in January here in the US and I too am disabled. Customer Service is a joke. I have questions that are new t answered on the website and definitely things about disability and additional carry one like food, drinks, pillows and do on. Do you think you can reach someone from the company? No! The system actually tells you to look at the website and hangs up on you. Also the location is suppose to be at Union Station where I would have access to security, food, drinks and bathroom, but instead the actual location is where I wasn't happy about two blocks away. Why state Union Station if you aren't parking there? The reason I am not flying is because I am handicapped and don't want the airlines to damage my walker and flying is a big pain in the butt now days. I have more control with my walker stored on the bus, but that means I can't leave the bus during stops because my walker is stored. No matter what traveling for handicapped is a royal pain!
I can feel your pain. Maybe you can contact the european customer service? As the "mother-company" they should at least know who the right contact for the US is. Try service@flixbus.de.

Hi, I was wondering if it is safe on the way to the Paris Bercy station to catch a midnight bus? Are there usually still lots of travelers at that time as shown in your video? I was wondering if it worths it to take the last bus to maximize my trip. thanks.
I hope some others can respond to that, as I only was this one time at Bercy. From my experience, I wouldn't want to be around that area at night. It was very crowded, many homeless people and garbage around. Not the nicest area, but that was only my experience on that specific day. I don'Ät know if thats usualy the case.
No, there are no real border check points between Germany, Belgium and France, like in most of Europe. It can be, that the police pulls the bus over but not in our case.
Why can they not tackle real sleeping busses like in Vietnam? I'd be more willing to entomb myself into a coffin that is stapled upon others wherein I could really lie down instead of having to sit through the journey. It is not possible to recreationally sleep while being in any form of sitting stance. bunk beds please!
I think we won’t get bunkbeds in European buses. But check out my outlook about. @twiliner at the end of the video. They will hopefully start this year with their lie flat seat.
@@Reens-Railswhy bunk beds will not appear on European busses? Many countries even developing countries have now introduced such bunk bed busses and they are a success.
Exactly, and if the journey is very long, the seated position can give ache. Berths in trains are the way to go but I think there are far fewer train coaches when we compare the volume of train travel and the price is way too high, again because of far fewer coaches than needed
