It’s crazy now in hindsight how many people in the industry could sense something off about Drake but they just stomached it cause he had the Midas touch so to speak, but they were waiting for the moment he’d come apart

Drake been jealous of seeing how much Hip-hop loves and respects Kendrick as not only rapper, but an artist.
So when he started to hold that numbers argument, he just wanted to show that he was the best, when he's not.
Kendrick since then showed that it should always be about quality than the quantity of music.
I like this take!
Drake can make hits, and can sing, there’s no denying his ability as far as that’s concerned.
But kendrick has more cadences, more flows, deeper bars and artistic expression, better character and ON TOP OF ALL THAT showed he can make a hit whenever he wants as well, with “Not Like Us”

Drake dissing Rihanna after years of not talking is sad and corny. The woman never claimed him and he is bitter that she is so public with Asap Rocky.
Drake wanted to hold Rihanna like a trophy, to show off that he managed to bag of the most desirable women in the industry. He wanted to be in a power couple relationship with Rihanna. That speech at the award show was such a weird move. The award was about her.

Another thing, Drake knew Asap Rocky couldn't really say much after he dissed him because Rocky has a legal case and he has been trying to stay low. Drake waited till now to diss him when Drake knew Rocky and Rihanna were dating, they both went to his party back in 2020.
