Hey Tim and thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately in this course we are not using "aws sam" . We will do it in future courses or as Bonus module we will add to the main "AWS Master course for beginner", Like we added recently the CloudFormation / infrastructure as a code module. The Serverless part in the course we are touching most of the AWS Serverless services (Lambda, dynamodb, Cognito, amplify, sqs, sns, s3 and many more) by the aws console. Feel free to ask any question
