NML is one of my favorite DC stories. I've read the novelization multiple times over the years. One of these days I'll get the comics. I just recently discovered your channel, I love what you're doing, helps my work night (graveyard shift) go by smooth.
Why though? I understand wanting an adaptation, I absolutely agree. But why no changes to the script? You've already seen that story. You've read that story. There would be no suspense at all, not even a little. I never understand why people want direct page-to-screen translations. What they need is a good writer to make smart changes that switch things up without altering the heart and core of the story, otherwise there's no point.
The Graphic Audio audio-drama for No Man's Land is absolutely incredible. If you have yet to, I highly recommend checking it out. It's honestly fantastic. Phenomenal, I'd even go so far in saying.

They’ve both been used longer than bows and swords, but took a simple idea and revolutionized it. My first experience with slings was a Lebanese neighbors father, he apparently grew up playing with them and for fun made me and his son one to mess around with. Needless to say I was absolutely baffled when he let a shot loose and everything from the crack of the release, to the spin of the bullet, to the sound of impact left me stunned. He went straight through the plywood he was aiming for, it was actually the moment that got me into ancient and classical history.
Thank you for the long form content. This is the first time I'm seeing one of your videos and I just want to make sure I got it correct. I know lots of fans of the shows tend to rank the 5th season as one of the lowest, but it's mostly because it doesn't have as many episodes as the others, and the finale is kinda infuriating because it had enormous potential, but it was wasted when the showrunners decided to cram everything into a single episode instead of making it a two-parter, or even a "mini-trilogy". Still, it doesn't change the fact that the "No Man's Land" part of season 5 was very well done, with the different factions lead by Penguin, Scarecrow, "Joker", Poison Ivy, Mother & Orphan, the Mutants (inspired by Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns"), the Soothsayers, the Undeads (inspired by the Neon Gang from Schumacher's Batman movies) etc... the free-zone held by Lee Thompkins helped by Jim Gordon & Harvey Bullock and the cops that remained loyal to them, and of course Alfred and Bruce Wayne. And of course the arrival of Bane, played by Shane West, and Nyssa al Ghul played by Jaime Murray, who made a duo that was, IMHO, almost as impressive as *TDKRises* considering the show's budget. *Gotham* 's Nyssa was much cooler than Nolan's Talia, and even Bane was pretty cool for a low-budget show.
