Oh my gosh that is a great idea!! I absolutely love linen right now and it would be super comfortable to wear. Glad that you like the geekier side of sewing like I do! It is just so interesting discussing how we go from just fabric to an entire dress. Like there are so many steps involved and so many skills for just one garment.
I really like your dress! I was hesitant on the sleeves when I saw the pattern, but they look good! I guessed you wouldn’t make it again! I was wrong! Also maybe as a tip to get away from the bias cut strip, try making continuous bias tape. It takes up a square of fabric depending on how much you need! I don’t know if it would work but I figured I’d mention it.
Lol at guessing that I wouldn't make it again. I mean like a big portion of the video was about my challenges lol so I totally understand that guess. I think I need to stop thinking garments will be easy to make. I am pretty ambitious. It is a good idea to just make a continuous strip. I have seen tutorials on how to make them. Great suggestion!
