    Hi Tom! "Hot sauce is supposed to be hot, but it's also supposed to be tasty!" I've thought about this too, but never heard it stated so well! Yours sure looks like the perfect combo of heat and taste! I love it!! I'm thrilled to hear you're recovering so well and back to making videos! Yay!! Thanks for the recipe and all you do here my friend!

      @@OldManCookin Great video, Sir. Yiu bought these Carolina Reapers online. Would you mind providing the website address or company name? I would love to get me some peppers. And also, how is a 4% brine made. Learning and want to make it myself too. Thanks. Best to you.

    Love your recipes and enthusiasm! Finally found someone on youtube who has a palette like mine! Thanks for all the inspiration. Trying a bunch of new things I'd steered clear from feeling like I might not be skilled enough, but you made me realize the way to truly make foods I love is to just give it a go, and trust my own judgment. I respect that. Much love, brotha!

    Looks great. Totally agree that it's easy to make a hot hot sauce, but not as easy to make a tasty one. Do you sterilize the bottles or measure pH before bottling? I've read from some sources that that is necessary. But if you're going to refrigerate I don't see the need?

    Hey Tom the hotter the better :-) My wife and I each ate a raw ghost pepper and we never will again as it was beyond hot. It made a habanero pepper seem like candy :-) I don't know where to get Carolina Reaper Peppers, I may have to substitute it with Ghost Peppers. I had no idea you were in the hospital, I hope you are recovering well. My wife Joi just got out of the hospital on Monday after another surgery which was successful :-) Take care :-) An Extra "BIG" thumbs up :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!

  • @ibriza6891

    How long does the sauce last in the fridge and did you add granulated sugar or Castor sugar

  • @nickfletcher1346
    @nickfletcher1346 4 года назад +1

    Problem with this is that you've added sugar at the end. This will 100% initiate the fermentation process again 🤔 needs to be heated in a pan after the sugar to kill the fermentation. other wise it sounds pretty bl00dy tasty 👍🏽
