Today Swapnil & I are taking you to Kallol Pujo at Kallol Kali Mandir to experience the traditional celebration of Durga Ashtami in Mumbai.
The ritual continues... Beginning the vlog with Bhog preparation followed by aarti and offering Bhog to Maa Kali. The sound of Dhak reverberates in the atmosphere while the heart dances in joy.
The most extraordinary part of the vlog is the choreographed Dhunuchi Naach which is performed to express love and gratify the magnificent Durga Maa. There is this huge gathering of people from all walks of life beyond caste and creed coming together in the spirit of oneness.
You'll meet my dear friend Krishna Datta who along with her amazing family has been part of Kallol Pujo all their lives. You'll also get to meet Maya Chandra and my incredible team at Avid Miner - Theresa, Kaveri & Divya.
