Hawk is smart enough to use all the buzz words to win any conflict with a teacher because of his experience of being bullied combined with being a bully.

Daniel's his guy though.
Tamlyn Tomita has been such a steady presence in genre TV for decades (Stargate, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Highlander, Eureka, Heroes, Monarch, the list goes on) as well as major dramatic works (24, The Shield, Joy Luck Club, numerous procedurals, etc), as well as stuff that rides the line in-between (Man in the High Castle). But Karate Kid II was her first role, so it's fantastic getting to see her return to it.
This is what I've been waiting for! And yes, again, both the actress and actor came back to play Kumiko and Chozen, respectively!
Cobra Kai is the only other property to get me as excited as a Marvel reveal.

This show does a wonderful job at call backs and references, without it being overbearing.
The guy who said Hawk cheated is Doug Rickenberger (that is the character's actual name). If you've noticed, he was one of the mooks who jumped Demetri at the mall. He was also the same guy who flipped a teacher during the school fight. He's a background character but tends to be one of the more vicious Cobra Kais.
Then quits Cobra Kai after getting rekt at Daniel's house💀
Funny thing is that both him and Hawk’s actor have a funny short together lol It’s old but still funny

We get it today
Being a Part 2 enjoyer meant this was just a brilliant injection of nostalgia for me, Kumiko is still delightful, and a brilliant return for Chozen - Daniel can't even go to another country without someone from his past triggering him XD
When Kriss said "our boy", Johnny never even thought of his son. People like to hate on Robbie, but they are unable to see nuance and the complexity of it.
When Kreese said "our boy", I think he meant Robby, but Johnny thought he meant Miguel. When Johnny threatened to kill Kreese if he goes near Miguel or his family, Kreese then goes to Robby in juvie.
Because Kreese said "when our boy comes back" meaning Miguel. Robby was never in Cobra Kai at that time to say "come back"
It all comes back to choices. Robby’s choices were mainly bad ones until Daniel’s teachings started to reach him. Daniel’s hot headed behavior didn’t help; he blew up at Robby 2x which contradicted what Daniel would say to him which made him unreliable to listen too.
Kreese: "We'll help him get up on his feet."
Hence, the topic was Miguel.
Best end reaction of Season 3 on all Levels...CHOZEN IS BACK! Can't wait for the next episode for you guys!

Kreese said "Our boy" to Johnny. Talking about Robbie. And Johnny's response was to tell him to stay away from Miguel. Kreese can see Miguel is still the one Johnny cares about and is worried about. Which leaves him the opening to pull Robbie to his side.
Miguel was both of their students in Cobra Kai; Robbie never was so it’s normal to deduce he’s talking about Miguel when he phrased it that way. Kreese has no ties to Robbie to say “our boy”. Going after Robbie afterwards would be the result since he was only told to stay away from Miguel, not from Robbie. He also knows Johnny would be giving Miguel more attention which would leave Robbie open to be approached
This is just a fan theory and never confirmed
Kreese said "we'll help him get up on his feet". Hence, most likely Miguel.
One thing that never sat well with me with the original Karate Kid trilogy was that Mr. Miyagi didn't bring auntie Yukie back with him at the end of Karate kid 2. She wanted to go with him and Mr. Miyagi said yes.
Maybe she didn’t go because Kumiko decided to stay to go to dance school and she didn’t want to leave her alone. Or maybe Mr. Miyagi legally couldn’t bring her? Idk how right the process for someone moving into the country was back then. Kumiko coming for studying or working is one thing 🤷🏾♂️ It could simply fall down to it not fitting the story the writers wanted to tell

@@yeah3601 yeah I finally saw the post they made about it, and it sucks but I’m not surprised. Feel like the normies are always taking on too much and causing issues with their schedule. I’ve found a few new channels to follow though, barely been watching the normies as of late.

I can't believe this started as a RUclips Red show. Im so glad Netflix gained control and did their thing! We never would've imagined all these characters reuniting for a Karate Kid spinoff show 😂

tbf, why would Robby care about Miguel? he's paying the price for what he did, they were never friends and Miguel pretty much antagonized him by picking fights with him for strange reasons. Johnny should've chosen his own son, he didn't, he choose Miguel while he didn't have to stay, he stayed, and didn't even bother checking in on Miguel after the surgery because he said "he should be with his family" yet he wasted all that time when he could've been with Robby and still be there for Miguel after to check on him when he's awake. miguel pretty much as everyone in his corner while the one person Robby has, isn't and chose the kid who pretty much started the fight between them, once again. I think this situation gets misunderstood so much on Robby's side just because of the whole accident.

With the exception of Miyagi's backside cameo in season 2, it's ALWAYS the same actor.
Well, there is also another character that comes on in episode 9 of season 3 who was portrayed by a different actor.

Yup. She has healing powers so Daniel needs to bring her back to Miguel to heal him! XD breaking the 4th wall, Hiro comes and teleports her back home afterwards.
This show is still amazing and to think it came from RUclips. All these actors getting to reprise their roles decades later is insane.😂😂

I don't think of Kreese as evil. I think he is amoral, or lacking in morality. He thinks in terms of survival of the fittest, not in terms of "right" or "wrong", or "good" or "bad".
Many of what Krees thinks is the right/proper path is deemed as wrong/evil to society. He assaulted Dimitri, Johnny and another student as teenagers, planned for Teen Daniel’s torture at the hands of Silver, taught his students criminal thinking/behaviors. That falls under evil by default of not being good or neutral.

Since you have started reacting to season 4 already, you should watch the deleted scene of Daniel and Kumiko. They should have never deleted it. It is a wonderful and moving scene. But I think I know why they decided to delete it.

I believe Chozen was the hottest and most fashionable Karete Kid character.
Kreese isn’t evil, if anything in this season people are more in the gray than on the side of black and white. There is no dark side and if it was it’s not cobra Kai, Hawk and some no names were really the only ones bullying but the rest of the known cobra Kai’s were ok.
Um ya, he is evil. Not Lord Voldemort evil sure, but he's the kind of person who teaches kids to be sociopaths and would brag about committing war crimes. He's a bad dude.
Facts ~ Plus Kreese again in this episode is the one who, by not giving up on Johnny, motivates him to try again with Miguel. Even if Johnny believes he hates his sensei, he still repeats/quotes him word for word when trying to reach his own student.

There is clearly black and white in the show. Characters flip back and forth throughout the series. It is kind of like a scaled-down version of Star Wars in a lot of ways, Cobra Kai represents the Sith and Miyagi-do represents the Jedi.
He assaulted teenagers multiple times, not for defensive reasons either like Johnny. He ordered Bobby to take Daniel’s leg out. He asked Silver to make Daniel’s hand’s bleed as he tortures him just to get revenge on Miyagi making Kreese hands bleed. He started to influence Johnny’s students to do immoral things such as KO defeated opponents, stealing, vandalizing property, breaking someone’s arm, and such. These are criminal actions which weren’t done for good reasons or neutral reasons; by default, they’re evil action.
The lesson with the potted plant wasn't evil. In fact it was a very Miyagi lesson and not cheating. Everyone else over-thought the problem. Hawk listened to the actual instructions and realized the simplest solution was the best. If it had been anyone else given the lesson, no one would have a problem with it.
As someone that comes from a family of nurses, please….do tell me more about these “fun days/appreciation days,” because they and I would love to know what you are smoking lol 🙂

Hawk took kreese's advice to heart but wrongly applied it for his gain
To this day,i still believe in doing things smart and efficiently,instead of brute strenthing it.
p.s the reason why miyagi do got detention was because they attacked first and sam was the ringleader being hella aggressive,while hawk decided to adapt and fight smarter IN SELF DEFENSE, kinda ironic😂😂😂

She probably told the Principal exactly what happened; Miyagi do started the physical altercation and Cobra Kai retaliated. All Hawk had to do was say Sam’s group bullied them and they wanted to protect themselves while playing into the fact that he use to be bullied which she knows about since she’s the one who used a microphone to tell students not to make full of a student deformities back in season 1 after Hawks mom called the school to complain.

At the rate they are going they won't finish in time for Part 1 of Season 6 in July. But they probably will catch up in time for Part 2 in November.

Doctors get paid for all the time it took for them to learn the necessary information on top of the all the time they dedicate to using it. Not gonna pretend like the field of medicine has fair economic practices, but doctors definitely work more if you add up the education hours (which never really stop even after graduation.)

7:08 F- Jersey Mike's! It's overpriced garbage, nothing like you'd find in Jersey/Philly area. And they overprice it on purpose to get people to think it's better than it is. It's absolute garbage.
For a major chain, they're pretty good- certainly better than Subway, and way better than Wegmans or Quickcheck. But an independent sub shop in NJ, or one that only has 2 or 3 locations, will almost always beat them.
This show gets better and better but this episode hands down the best one!

I think its sad that when Kreese says to Johnny (and when our boy gets back we'll help him get back up on his feet) I think Kreese was talking about Robby and is actually shocked that Johnny said Miguel and not Robby which make me feel more sad for Robby and it also didn't shock me then when Kreese showed up in jail..
This is why I think it's important to watch the next karate kid in case they bring back Hilary Swank AkA Julie

Miyagi -do has a habit of starting fights they cant finish and playing the victim afterwards.
