I was watching a nanny kidding in pasture at 4 am this morning and a coyote female ran up to her and I nailed it before it got a kid I was prepared and waiting 😊😊😊
Awesome job both Kayson and Leighton on catching those predators. Especially Leighton and it was a joy to watch him putting that trap out and filming it the day before.
Woo hoo! Way to go Leighton! You know what you’re doing! I love how you said to protect your brother’s chickens! That was so sweet. Way to go Kayson! You did great getting that mean raccoon. Get well speedily all of you!
That's a great idea! Putting a fence around the new chicken pens and putting one of the LGD's in there .Congratulations Leighton on your 1st bobcat trapping! Great job! ❤
I am so glad Kayson got out in the fresh air. I am so glad you are protecting your chickens. I am so happy you caught your second raccoon. Leighton great job catching that bobcat.
Please put 1/4 inch hardware cloth all over your pens as well as making a skirt. When you remove predators more will always move in. Best thing is to make your pens and runs predator proof with the hardware cloth.
I’m so glad your feeling better Kayson ❤ Great job getting that raccoon 🦝 Layton- I loved how you went out and set your trap- I’m even more excited that you caught a Bobcat - That will help the farm so much - Great job 👏 Keep up the good work ❤
Great job Leighton. Keep doing a great job protecting your animals. The bobcat was beautiful but it needed to stay away from your animals. God Bless your family.❤❤❤❤
Wow. What a beautiful bobcat. I've seen them and pumas very close to me as a kid. I wasn't scared of them but I respected them. He would have been something to take to the taxidermist. We had several caves in creek that it was said that they lived. All us kids in the neighborhood would go down and explore the creek. You can feel them when they are close and watching you. I used to talk to them. I was a weird kid/teen. I felt one when walking the woods at night to get away from my abusive mother, and it was in a tree above me on the trail. I just told it do what you're going to do. It's in God's hand. And I felt it lose interest. Shook me up I must admit. It was a hard time in my life and I'll leave it at that. The boys are soooo smart and retain so much of what they are taught! I'm impressed Kayson and Leighton!
Leighten, I’m so proud of you for paying attention to what your dad was teaching you about trapping and then you go out on your own and put your knowledge and skill to to work and set your own trap and caught your first Bobcat, CONGRATULATIONS young man!!! ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦
Your boys are awesome boys they are passionate in protecting their farm and animals there such good workers helping their parents they are wise young men ❤❤
Happy for Leighton, he did a fine job on his trap and it paid off. The bobcat was determined. Kayson was also aware that his chickens needed help as well. Just keep in mind when you havec1 mouse there is a family behind it. So I hope the boys con't. to keep traps in that area. The bobcat left a scent for them to follow for sure. Congrats Boys!🎉
Set wire box traps at the chicken pen and put a fence around it with Carley or a donkey in the pen. Congratulations Leighton, you are really getting it done. Loved the way you said you wanted to protect your brothers chickens, that was so special. Good job Kayson on the racoon catch. Enjoyed the video ❤️🫶❤️ North Carolina 🇺🇸
Congratulations Layton!!!!! Sorry you didn’t get to dispatch it yourself but your Dad had no choice! So happy for you!!! I know it’s expensive but I hope you get it mounted!!
Carly only has 3 good legs, how would she be able to get out and protect anything. Hopefully she doesn’t get hurt . That bobcat could have hurt many of the animals. So scary.good job Leighton
Well that's wonderful that he's feeling much better and yes you're too during the day it's nice and sunny but at night time it gets off like cold anyway my name is Rebecca I'm a senior and if you don't hear from me the next few days cuz I'm going through a lot of tests and one is I have an aneurysm and they want to check on that and see how that is going and you all guys have a wonderful blessed day and God bless you
Way to go guys! I am so proud of you. Three years ago we had to give up the chicken and duck farm because of predators. The last straw was when eagles and hawkes took a few. So heart breaking when you raise them from chicks, give them names only to be taken by wild animals.
Way to go young lads I so proud of yall,my son an I are just starting to get into trapping, not successful yet but by no means are we giving up,y'all help me push on even when we're not successful thank y'all and your mom n dad for raising such dedicated young guys to be successful, luv yall n God bless!! Congratulations young lads 🎉
Brandon you have amazing older son he catch a bobcat that he very good I am very happy for that I know he protect his whole family and all the animal to let God protect your family all on this farm is good to have a wonderful life this farm I am not going to lie about this is true what I am saying about this farm I really in joy watching your farm love you all now your older son can teach your younger how to set the trap
Holy smokes, two great trappers in the family! Congratulations Leighton and Kayson and huge high-five to you both!🖐️🖐️ If only the animals knew that they havea couple of great protectors looking out for them. That’s weird that he was out during daylight right? Brandon and Stephanie your pride really showed. ❤❤
Congratulations to Kayson on catching a Raccoon and Leighton on your Bobcat. You have worked hard to learn how to trap and now you are reaping the rewards! Just always be very careful setting the traps and getting the animals out of them. Hopefully you all will be able to get all of the ones that are killing your animals! Leighton, it was very sweet of you to want to help keep something from getting your brothers chickens 😊 🐅🦝
Leighton so proud of you and Kason so proud of you as well for taking care of your farm animals. The Eddy Farn now has 2 great trappers on the farm and no worries the animals are protected.
I think Carly scared the bobcat away. I think your idea of putting a fence around all the Chicken coops and putting Carly in to better protect the chickens is a great idea. Congratulations to both boys for protecting their livestock. Congratulations Brandon for reaching 90K 👏🙏❤
"Congratulations" on the Bobcat, Leighton!! Nice catch!!! "Very Proud of you", WOW!!!! It's a possibility that that was what Dixie was attacked by, with the way her leg was tore up & the huge scratch on her neck & the bites on her ear!! It could have got a hold of her a couple of times. It was just a few weeks ago that that happened too & came back for more. Just saying!! We'll never know what happened to her, but I think it's a big possibility it was the bobcat or another one that's been on camera. Great Job either way, Leighton!! ...God Bless The Eddy family Farm
Impresive catch for both boys. You definitely have to protect your animals from predators. The one time a possum tried to get my chickens my two great Pyrenees mix females didnt let it get too far past the fence. After one had a litter, we now have 6 pups 7 months old, each weighs north of 60 lbs, and the largest is larger than his Catahoula father. Who is a bery athletic 75lbs. The coyotes stay clear of our animal pens that the pups and older dogs patrol.
So glad Kayson you are feeling better. Hope you feel stronger each and every day. I wanted to mention I lost several chickens to raccoons before I covered my entire run with chicken wire and then eventually hardcloth . A raccoon can get his foot through your enclosure. Good luck !
Good for you for showing the importance of predator management in farm life. Farm animals for food must be protected. Good fathers teach their sons such skills, future generations depend on it. Thanks Brandon for leading your boys in faith and character.
The bobcat probably broke the weld on the pen trying to get to the chickens. I'm so happy for Leighton for catching one. Kayson will be hard at it trying to catch him one. God Bless Y'all.
You should use those steel zip ties Brandon. You can remove them just as easy as wire with wire cutters. No raccoon is going to break one of those steel zip ties. I know from experience. Good luck and God bless you all.
Well done lads on your catches. Very important for them to learn skills that they may use later on in life. I agree with fencing in your chicken kennels, just an extra layer of protection. Add a LGD to the mix. Your place is looking good.
Congratulations Kayson on your racoon! Congratulations Leighton on you bobcat! Good job boys on getting those killers off the farm! Brandon and Steph you both have some great trappers there! So glad everyone is getting healthier. Awesome video! God bless.😊❤
Great job Leighton on catching your first bobcat.
And kason on your 2raccoon.God blessyou all.
Boys are becoming great trappers. It’s possible you may need to fence in the chicken pens. Thx for sharing Brandon. Blessings ❤❤
Thanks 👍

😮Congratulations Leighton on catching your first bobcat well done 👏
Those puppies have grown so fast. So cute.
Please put 1/4 inch hardware cloth all over your pens as well as making a skirt.
When you remove predators more will always move in.
Best thing is to make your pens and runs predator proof with the hardware cloth.
Very true, the ones fighting for teritory will pop up, good call.
Way to go boys! Feel better soon Kayson!

Congratulations to both boys for protecting their livestock.
Congratulations Brandon for reaching 90K 👏🙏❤
Preditors are smart., they will keep trying. As carley is restricted by a fence, I'm sure they have worked it out. Foxes try to get ours daily.
Congratulations buddy it’s amazing that you set that trap bare hand and got your scent on it and still was successful
Prayers for Kayson🙏 hope he feels better soon. Puppies look great. You all are doing a great job.
"Congratulations" on the Bobcat, Leighton!! Nice catch!!! "Very Proud of you", WOW!!!! Remember Brandon no one is perfect, you guys are doing a great job.
Have you thought about putting the electric netting up for extra protection against predators

Time to learn how to tan that hide or have it mounted
Very good job Kayson.Hope you feeling better.
Keep up the good work boys 👍
The bobcat probably broke the weld on the pen trying to get to the chickens. I'm so happy for Leighton for catching one. Kayson will be hard at it trying to catch him one. God Bless Y'all.
You don’t need Carly in with the donkey and llamas they are there own protectors. Let Carly out by the chickens.
🦝🐈Great job, Leighton and Kayson! Yea, Dad. Woo Hoo!
Just found your channel. Looking forward to watching more vids.❤❤
Awe. I understand what u had to do. But I do wish Lieghton had been able to dispatch his bobcat. That young man is so awesome.
Way to go Leighton!
