I'm thinking of getting the same rim setup but with 285/70/17, just installed an eibach lift kit 2.5 inch currently. Would these rub? I'm completely lost lol

Run the same tire on my Tacoma. Great in the snow, mud and general trail use. I find them a little slippery when wet.

Do you still need to trim if you get a standard lift? Mine just got lifted and I plan on getting some trd pro rims but it’s not -12 offset and I want to get same tire size but don’t want to trim. Don’t mind minor rubbing if it’s only when it’s at full lock

If you get this same tire size but use trd pro rims it won’t rub at all even without a lift.

If you are getting the genuine Toyota trd pro wheels, part number PTR203511BK or PTR203511GR, they are 17”X7” and will not rub with 265/70/17. If you get replica TRD wheels that are 9” wide I can’t speak to if they’d rub, I haven’t tried that combo.

That being said, I think the -12mm offset is the main reason I am getting rubbing, not as much the rim width, so I would guess the trd pro replicas wouldn’t rub but I can’t be sure
