lt is not necessary to talk to the hawkers becos they are all villagers and they sell anywhere enforcement should be applied to make Ghana clean almost 70 years of independent oh Ghana
THIS IS A HEALTH and SAFETY issue. It's not safe for them to be under the bridge. The Assembly must provide a suitable SAFE spot for vendors, pedestrians etc. That space under the flyover must be a "no-go" zone. It must be cordoned off by a low wall or railings etc to prevent trespassing. This is why PLANNING is so important. Where are the City Planners employed by the Assembly? Hmmmn
We Ghanaians like to place emphasis on how some of us didn’t go to school and that we should be allowed to either work on the galamsay site or be armed robbers….. What is wrong is wrong and be put as such…. We can’t tolerate this. We must start from some where.
Just look at the nonsensical situation at circle. It is always about enforcement . I always hate it when the pavements filled with items for sale. It doesn't make any sense to me .
Masa, there is no need to ask this question. Who gave them that right to sell under this newly opened flyover. This is not done anywhere in a developed country if we want to be like them.
I do understand the plight of the vendors but this is not the place to do business. There are markets all over the place, why can't they sell in the markets? Arrest them if they don't vacate the place. Listening to this woman (Esther), my question to her is, why can't they sell in the market? Allowing them to sell at such places is non-negotiable. We need to be law abiding and disciplined. Provide them with designated places in the market to sell and arrest them if they come back. AMA is the problem!
Ghana must change, not going to school doesn't mean you should be allowed to do what you please. There are markets and you must sell there, and if the people want to buy they go to the market.
If they are selling there and something happens to them they same people will come out government should come and help them, what kind of rubish is that, if you go to any country what makes the country beautiful is cleanliness, For Ghana no why?
There should be a law in Ghana that no one is allowed to sit on the road and sell there is even not safe for pedestrians. The Accra is crowded with people on the roads and pavements and selling stuff is not safe. There must be law. enforcement.
No selling.... Selling must be in town... Anyone who wants to by coconut must go to town and buy coconut.... It must not be allowed to sell anywhere.... Pathetic...
I know for a fact in kaneshie that some policemen take money from hawkers in order to deliberately create traffic so that the hawkers can sell in the traffic.... A couple of hawkers have personally confirmed it to me because im their customer.... Ama Ghana
When they build market place for them to go there and sell their products they will refuse to go they should stop them from selling what is strong with us whydo we all ways take the law into our own hands and always blame someone for our life this is serious
Sometimes because this media freedom, you guys just tolerate certain issues. I mean if a normal business man wanted free airtime you guys would be charging huge money. I just don't know why you guys should tolerate this
Some of these Ghanaian leaders are heartless. The best way is to compensate them and move them out of the place. These women don't make a lot of money. The municipality can afford to give each one 5000 GHS, after game close.
@@akwasiohemengdanso888 For loss of income. The government is responsible for displacing them. These people don't make a lot of money anyway, so helping them adjust to the new reality indicates a government that cares. After all, the money these politicians spend on petrol a month is far more than these people do. Let's be compassionate.
Please don't even engage anyone for interview. What if the bridge collapse on them. No emotions added. The law must be enforce anyone found under the bridge selling should be arrested. Ghanaians fear arrest than fined.
Poor project design. Structures are built to improve traffic flows and other public needs like street hawking. Look at circle, the irregular stonework has stopped the under the bridge hawkers. Should be done for this place too.
Ghanaians smh 🤦🏾♀️… JUST WHY??? Agreement??? As in how ?? There should be no selling any where close to that place… do we even think about safety??? Why are we sympathizing with this nonsense??? No one is denying you of trading ! Sell at the appropriate places… … ahhhh GHANA

Education is the key 😊
How tf will they sell under a flyover when the brain is NOT working the body suffers

It is very bad for hawkers to sell or do business under the over pass . Not even good for their safety .

Some of these Ghanaian leaders are heartless. The best way is to compensate them and move them out of the place. These women don't make a lot of money. The municipality can afford to give each one 5000 GHS, after game close.
