    that factory defect pull station seems cool to have that in a collection

      Yeah I wish he did replace it and added it in his collection to use it on a system only if it fails after a while

    That tone from the speaker/strobes is actually pretty pleasing.

      It's because of a manufacturing error as they forgot to add the "Push in Pull Down" instructions. It's not a fail according to the replies in my comment because in the event of a fire emergency that you needed to pull this pull station, you can obviously just try to pull any part of the pull station like the box or the black handle down, or any other part until it activates similarly to activating a call point as you can either push in or pull down normally but when you push in a call point it activates and also some call points don't have instructions on how to activate it words and just arrows pointing to a button which means that pull station is fine and also if you see a pull station that looks like this that has the "Push in Pull Down" and by the time that the fire has started in the area of the factory defective pull station then you'll know how to pull it by reading the activating instructions from the other pull stations in this building

    can you keep doing that system

    That factory defective pull station should have never passed QC… This is a serious safety concern in my opinion as an occupant likely will not know how to operate it. I’m surprised the fire marshal approved of this after system installation. Good inspection video though!

      It is a fail actually because there needs to be marking on a pull station that indicates that it IS a fire alarm initiating device, and how to operate it sucessfully .... @@joeycaridi3030

      Yeah this is why I stay away from honeywell. they have serious QC issues and the government is allowing it.

      All US fire alarms are a serious safety concern. Trust me when you see other countries and how advanced their systems are you ask yourself why are ours 50 years behind 😂

      no cause it worked fine

    • @joeycaridi3030
      @joeycaridi3030 Год назад +1

      @@FourtyFiftyEighty Then how will someone pull this pull station in a fire emergency because it doesn't have the "push in pull down" instructions as someone won't know how to pull it which is dangerous as they need to go to a different one and read the instructions to pull that one as seconds count in an emergency which might be a code violation and a #whatafirealarmfail for having pull stations like these to not have instructions on how to activate it
