Nice video👍🏽 A view of freight crossing the Hell Gate Bridge is something that will never get old to us railfans🌁🛤🚆
In a few years, there will be Metro North Trains.
Well, let’s not jump to conclusions... MTA still has a lot of things to work out with Amtrak before that ever happens
@@youminholastransit3218 metro north and amtrack already share tracks
@@skyforce2132 so what? Do you even know what Amtrak wants MTA to do if they allow Penn Access to happen? They basically want to take over the LIRR
@@youminholastransit3218 Not really on Amtrak’s expansion plan map it only showed it’s services running along the main line up to Ronkonkama.
@@skyforce2132 But the electricity volts on the wires have to be matchable for both the Metro North and Amtrak trains along that corridor so it is going to take a little bit of testing but not too much, other than finding the proper time beings to build the new platforms for Bronx stations along the corridor.
Looks like a good vantage point there. You werent parked on the interstate were you?
Filmed from pedestrian walkways along the Bronx Kill Bridge and main span Triborough Bridge.
How often does P&W run to New York City & what days
Haven’t you seen any steam locomotives yet?
