Thank you for your service to our country! Great interview. God bless you!
Millions of Vietnamese civilians and thousands of US young men were slaughtered in a useless war. It was service to the Military Industrial Complex.
Thank you for sharing these stories with all of us of 1980 vintage …growing up in rural 🇨🇦, our limited TV channel set up piped in a steady showing of ‘Tour of Duty’ This was my only exposure to the Vietnam experience until I had the chance to travel to Vietnam mid 2000’s. The depth of this war runs deep ! Thank you for all that have served.
You do great work Larry! Thank you Thomas! Welcome home!
Thank you kindly. God bless you!!
I truly enjoyed this interview.
Thank you Michael. I'm glad you like this interview.
The freedoms we enjoy are only realized when you need them and they are not there.
Yes, we are fighting for the same freedoms today in our own country that our Veterans fought for on foreign soil.
Thanks for your service! Everyone please remember the ones that didn’t make it back home!! Thanks
Marine Dan Bullock is always at the front of that line in my mind.
Amen Gary.
Thank you Larry for another interview with America's best
Thank you so much for your service and welcome home!
Welcome home, thank you so much for your service.👊🏻🇺🇸
Thank you for your service & Welcome Home
Thank you Lt. Egleston for sharing your story. It's great to listen to each of you folks for your perspective of the war you were in. It's also amazing how each of your stories fit with what others have said to build a more complete picture of that war, and the lives of all combat vets in other wars.
Thank you Sir for your service, and welcome home.
EXCELLENT MY FRIEND. Always enjoy reading your heartfelt comments.
On a day as beautiful as this, one has to really appreciate the sacrifices made by these men who endured the heat, humidity and whatever else lurking in the unknown. Thank you so very much, and God bless.
Well said Olivia!!!
Thank - you Mr. Egleston 👍 .
Awesome! Thank you for your service Tom. Very well spoken! I did basic in Ft. Dix NJ which is now a joint base McGuire. I have some fond memories of New Jersey and the Wrightstown area.
Very true words about today's attitudes, sir. I am 76 and often think about my friends that lost their lives in Vietnam. I also think about my dad that was in WW 2, in Europe. I have his draft notice and it indicates that your service tour will be from enlistment day until the duration of the war. Not one year -until the war is won by the Allies, or you are killed or injured and can't fight anymore. My thanks always goes to those that served and I thank you.
Thank You for you service Sir, welcome home 💯
You are doing such great work Larry your helping so many of us out here that have hard day I kno you've helped me. I hope so many others get to eat of this fruit it could save life and I'm sure it has.

I appreciate that.
Thank you Tom for your service to our country. Although I am a veteran from 68-72, I didn’t go to Vietnam. All of my friends and family who did are no longer alive to share their stories. I value your memories and wish you all the best. I salute 🫡 you.

Agreed!! I have many search stories in my archives, stories I recorded over the years.
A nation is proud of hour servicr,ISA
Shame these young men were enlisted to fight on the other side of the world against people who never did them any harm.
So many lost their lives for the MIC.
Name the last war America won🤔 nam was a fascinating tradgedy…
Weird how he talks about the anti-war protestors at the beginning and then mentions how they listened to The Stones, The Beatles, The Doors etc who were part of that protest movement.
Saw you wearing a Jewish star
Explain that please
You saw me or one of my Veterans wearing a yellow star of David? I do wear one on occasion.

Vietnam and Iraq had absolutely NOTHING to do with “terrorism”. 🙄
