I feel like they’re getting lazier during the writing. I know non of these characters can be as likable as Mason or Woods but, in 2020 when we met Adler he was a great addition. Cool personality, mysterious backstory just overall badass. These characters do nothing like that. I like Adler because he can be reused later. To be fair Case is Hallucinating, also when Bell was being brainwashed he went through a scenario that led him to a rat tunnel fighting and in turn began fighting Zombies in a Cave :)
it's the company that owns the products they want to use that make that decision. they can put as much money on the table as they want, and ask as many times as they want, but for Colt (the company that technically owns the rights to the designation "M4" and "1911", and H&K (who own the designations for MP5, MP7, G36C, G3, etc.) if they don't want their weapons' names being used, then there's nothing COD can do about it. Honestly Little Caesar's and Mountain Dew have had an ongoing relationship with COD for years, so they prob paid COD for the advertising in game.
Cold wars break on through mission through a sidepath, nightmares mode in bo3. I kinda expected it the moment the cutscene mentioned it being abandoned and a biohazard. And then the gas masks and separation, i knew it would turn into pyschological/hallucinations type horror.... For 1 minute and then you are just shooty shooty bang bang again. Thought it would be like the one bo1 mission or other ones where you just have a knife or crowbar to defend yourself the whole way. I do appreciate at least the arenas and setups.
Using zombies like they did in bo3 and cold war,but literally a whole mission section is just lazy, it's really bad seeing they using campaign to hype up another game mode, why it's hard to just make a campaign just like bo1 and 2 Without the hallucination bullshit? I feel like they’re getting lazier during the writing. I know non of these characters can be as likable as Mason or Woods but, in 2020 when we met Adler he was a great addition. Cool personality, mysterious backstory just overall badass. These characters do nothing like that.
I like Adler because he can be reused later. They already killed off Hudson, shot woods knees off, and mason for all we know is dead. Adler can carry the touch for Black ops as the new woods when it comes to a support character. NO MORE MUTES.

you’re telling me that cod can get the license to use little caesar’s but can’t use the real name for half the guns in the game?
Cost to much to get the license for the guns, way cheaper to use lil ceasers as they prob paid cod for advertising
it's the company that owns the products they want to use that make that decision. they can put as much money on the table as they want, and ask as many times as they want, but for Colt (the company that technically owns the rights to the designation "M4" and "1911", and H&K (who own the designations for MP5, MP7, G36C, G3, etc.) if they don't want their weapons' names being used, then there's nothing COD can do about it. Honestly Little Caesar's and Mountain Dew have had an ongoing relationship with COD for years, so they prob paid COD for the advertising in game.
As it should be, dont give gun companies more money
Thought it's the gun companies who don't want their names on games anymore

Cool as fuck they way the pulled it off
Bo3 did the same. Just worse.
There just reusing assets to fill the campaign
Using zombies like they did in bo3 and cold war,but literally a whole mission section is just lazy, it's really bad seeing they using campaign to hype up another game mode, why it's hard to just make a campaign just like bo1 and 2 Without the hallucination bullshit?
Mason on the bo1 seeing numbers and getting flashbacks from his brainwashing experiments,it was simple and grounded,no fancy shit
