Don’t matter who these guys were Fab and robi will be forever the main guys.
They were the voices and the basis of the songs you've enjoyed to listen to. Without them, nothing would've been possible. Even if Rob & Fab were able to sing as well, but that didn't happen because the producer didn't let them do it. So it does matter who these guys - the real singers - were because they've also played a VERY important role in the project. Without each one of the people involved, there wouldn't be Milli Vanilli that's for sure.
I loved Rob and Fab and still do. Having said that there's nothing wrong with these beautiful people. All of them should have been given the chance to see the success they deserved.

The image that comes to your head when you hear Milli Vanilli is Rob and Fab's because of a scam created by the producer. They indeed had charisma and were great dancers, but the vocalists also have their merit as they played a BIG role in the project. Without ther voices, nothing would've happened. Rob and Fab could sing it's true, but at the time they were not as experienced with singing as the original singers were and their english wasn't good at all, so it wouldn't work, they would need a lot of time to learn how to sing correctly and also to improve the pronnunciation. Maybe they could've done it, but they didn't as the producer didn't let them to. So let's not forget the real singers and their work because without it, there wouldn't be Milli Vanilli! ;)

@@crumcon Actually not. There were other bands who did this same thing before Milli Vanilli. Check Baltimora, Den Harrow, Boney M.... but on those cases there wasn't such a huge scandal like it was with Milli Vanilli.
They weren't the first. In USSR in the 80s we had very popular female fronted band Мираж , opera singer sang the songs on the records and different sexy girls performed them on the concerts!

Não importa porque não te convém, prefere fechar os olhos à realidade pra não ter as ilusões destruídas. Rob e Fab eram ótimos mas não podemos esquecer que o mérito não é só deles, aliás maior parte do mérito foi de quem deu a voz para essas músicas que fizeram tanto sucesso e são lembradas até hoje. Sem os vocalistas reais nada teria sido possível. Por mais que Rob e Fab tivessem boa aparência, carisma e presença de palco, e até mesmo boa voz, na época eles ainda não tinham muita experiência com canto e o inglês deles não era bom portanto não iria dar certo se eles botassem a voz logo de início, mas parece que vocês se recusam a enxergar a verdade do jeito que ela é. Eventualmente eles aprenderam a cantar e até lançaram um álbum com as vozes deles, mas antes isso seria praticamente impossível porque eles não eram cantores profissionais, não tinham a mesma experiência dos cantores de estúdio que deram a voz para Milli Vanilli portanto importa sim quem sejam os cantores reais porque sem eles nada teria sido possível. This is ridiculous the ‘Real’ band never had a hit and these guys are miming, admittedly to their own studio vocals, but they are still miming like Rob and Fab did. A lot of the Motown bands onwards mimed. It’s the producer who should be jailed, I feel sorry for Rob & Fab.

Frank Farian is the real Milli Vanilli. He wrote most of the songs, wrote the bass hooks, envisioned the entire project, and even a lot of the singing in many of the songs is actually his voice. Charles Shaw is the real voice of 'Girl You Know It's True', Brad Howell is the real singer of 'Blame it on the Rain', and John Davis, seen here, is mainly the true singer of 'Keep on Running'....the real female vocals on every Milli Vanilli recording were always the Rocco sisters, who are Caucasian Twins. The real drummer for Milli Vanilli was white and one of the best studio drummers in all of Germany. Milli Vanilli was an extremely complex project to pull off. One of Farian's stipulations was that every performer presented on stage had to be black, despite the fact that many of the vocals are from white Europeans.

No,no cantaban,intentaron hacerlo cuando vieron que empezaban a arrasar en las ventas y conciertos,se dieron cuenta del peligro que se les venía si seguían usurpando las voces originales y le pidieron al productor que los dejaran cantar pero no accedió,eso selló su destino y destapó el fraude.
