- This is a full walkthrough and review of the Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas. We had such a great time here, but there is definitely a lot I wish I would have known before we got here which is why I wanted to share this :) We stayed in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, but Baha Mar also has the Rosewood Hotel and the SLS Hotel. What do you think of the resort?
On their website some of the nicest restaurants don’t have an option to make reservations or a phone number. I understand that some are not formal dining but some are formal sit-down restaurants with no option. What’s the secret to getting those reservations?
I think the best thing to do is make the reservation once you get to Baha Mar. You can easily make reservations with the restaurant directly once you’re there by calling through your room phone. Also, at least at the time we went it was not hard at all to get a reservation. Hope that helps!
is it true they automatically add a $200/day charge for incidentals on your credit card at check in? Heading there early October...
Yes that is true! Everyday they charged my credit card, but it was always just “processing” and it wasn’t until we checked out that slowly each charge started to get removed from my credit card. That’s so exciting that you are going soon! You are going to LOVE it!

Nice what month was it?
We went in mid May and it was honestly the best time to go! Not many people, the water park was basically empty and the weather was nice 🙂
How much was the room service and service fee
We never ended up getting room service, but did see the prices and it was pretty pricey. The service fee is around 11% for anything and everything you purchase and on top of the service fee they add taxes, and other fees that will end up almost doubling your bill, unfortunately 🫤

Yes 😭and the crazy part is that’s actually the least expensive food you can find
