Anyone interested in geeking out on filmmaking? Want to learn how to get better photos & video, regardless of whether you're on a high end camera or a phone? I really enjoy teaching, just not sure what percentage of our audience would be interested, and what percentage is only here for wedding advice/highlights. Let me know!
I'd absolutely love to!
I am ABSOLUTELY interested!
As a college student who did the campus newscast 10 years ago YES! Havent played with editing software since either ☹
I really enjoyed my time with the team, behind the scenes
For the love of god, YES!
Yeah the way you cut this was very frustrating. It was getting interesting and then you'd like delete the explanation part practically mid-sentence. Lol. I know almost nothing about filming but I still know the basic fact that you need to white balance the camera and it would be nice to know more about all the nerdy details
Too bad you cut out the "nerdy" parts explaining the technical explanations. I would have nerded-out too. I like to learn stuff like that. It's interesting.
That's what I want to hear!! I would love to nerd out more, I just want to be mindful of what you guys enjoy on this specific channel. I just posted a poll to see what everyone wants to see more of here!
Yes! Please "Nerd-out" more! This is all so interesting to me!
I would love more videos on the "nerdy" parts! We're filmmakers too and LOVE to hear that kind of talk haha! Love your videos.
Ok I'm gonna do it! I might even do some "deleted scenes" on our YT stories or something
I love learning your tips and tricks on wedding videography...I really wanna see you "Nerd Out" on some videos as well
Might just have to let it all out next time!
Could you do a video about how the videographer and the photographer interact or work with each other?
This sounds interesting to learn!!
Yes! I have it on the ideas list! The way RUclips works, if the title & thumbnail aren't catchy enough, ther percentage of people that click goes down, and then RUclips stops showing it to people. So as soon as I can figure out how to frame that topic (and others like it) into a catchy title, I'll film it!
I would love to see the "noob vs pro" comparison, that's such a cool idea
Right!? It would be really fun to do, and super informative for anyone interested in learning filmmaking, or even anyone looking to hire a videographer (what to look for/look out for)
So, you discussed challenges with beach venues, and now challenges with indoor venues, esp. churches. Could you please discuss challenges with outdoor venues. Say, for instance, a tree grove, garden, barn, etc. Basically, an outdoor venue with lots of trees - whether the trees have their leaves (late fall/winter/early spring), or not (late spring/summer/early fall). Thanks!
Ooooo, yes! Definitely need to talk about that! Adding it to my calendar!
I'm on the East Coast (Maryland area) and have broken up with the person I was thinking I'd marry so I'm not getting married for years at the earliest lol but I imagine when I do it'll be indoors because I'm just afraid of rain. I feel like indoor weddings are more common over hear and I'm an atheist and definitely want a secular wedding not in a church but. I didn't want to have to worry about rain. I went to a friend's Friday evening intended to be outdoor April wedding that because of rain was pushed into the reception area barn. They got their first look and pre-wedding photos outdoors which was nice before the rain started but as a guest at that wedding I couldn't even see the bride and groom really because the chairs weren't all set up to see them and it was so far from ideal. It kinda made me want to avoid even considering an outdoor wedding...
@@VioletEmerald That's too bad. But climate is certainly something to consider. I have always dreamed of having an outdoor wedding any time I would think about it. Thankfully, I live in the southwest region of the US. So, most of the year we see sunny skies. And in seasons like winter and early spring, the weather here is BEAUTIFUL... So, an outdoor wedding where I live, an early spring would be beautiful.
@@AmariProductions Sorry about the confusion. When I mentioned whether trees have their leaves or not, I meant it the other way around with trees and their leaves. I think you know that. Just wanted to clarify anyway. Thanks!
Your clickbait title, for the record, made me think it would be something about COVID or something somehow lmao
I'm actually shocked, the clickbait-y title totally worked, our click through rate is way up. BUT! Our average watch time is also up! So people are staying to watch it more than normal, too! Couldn't be happier!
Nerd-out 🙌 Nerd-out 🙌 Nerd-out, hope to see a teaching video soon. Love all your content and your energy.
Ask and you shall receive! Check out today's video!
Great video, as always. I would have liked to hear you nerd out! I have no clue whatsoever about filming, but I'd like to hear it anyway. Especially from someone as enthusiastic as you :3
Oh man, I got my degree in theater lighting, I would’ve learning some technical stuff about film lighting!
Oooooooo, anything to add!?
@@AmariProductions Hmmmm. I guess if you do a wedding that takes place in a theater, or if the couple is bringing in a lighting designer in general, please go ahead and talk to that designer (like you would talk to the person in charge of the church). I know for me personally, I don't know the first thing about cameras, and I'd be more than happy to adjust the lighting to help make the shot better. I don't speak for every designer, but anyone who works in that environment should at least be used to collaborating.
Church weddings are the most difficult weddings to film...
Hmmm... that's ALL weddings in my country :)))) And orthodox churches are daaaaark
You probably have some of the strongest technical videographers in the world then!!
Can you please establish yourself in India! Here all videographers crowd the stage front, blocking all the view to the people. I know some people want that, but times are changing..
Oh how I would LOVE to expand internationally! Also, you're not alone in that trend! It's not super common anymore in the states, but still happens more often than not.
Don't cut the deets. Don't cut the nerd. I came here to learn and improve! 😁 Or get a B channel and nerd out and teach there.
B channel's not a bad idea.... I'll try out some more technical subjects here to see if they hit first.
