    I have a Panasonic Rx 5250 and a 5150, could you please explain why the loudness switch on the 5250 makes a huge difference in sound, but the loudness button on the 5150 only produces a slightly bassier sound? Thanks:)

      The 5250 is a smaller cabinet with smaller speakers which needs more bass equalization to give it more lower base than the larger 5150 with a larger cabinet and larger speakers which doesn't need to move as much air to give the same result therefore the 5150 has a smaller equalization curve than the 5250 me I don't use loudness to increase the base at a high volume that's not its purpose. The loudness switch is to increase loudness at lower volume only

    hello sir I have the same model , it's funny because when you raised the head up it runs, but the button doesn't work ... In my case the buttons works , you press the button it raises the head but it doesn't run the tape. you may have idea why its doing it? Pls help.

      No I don't know and I sold mine have to worry about it
