My aunt used to watch the fox and the hound a lot and that’s how I first watched the movie, I cried so hard
I remember this movie as a kid and crying over it because we all grow up and lose friends when we get older somehow my best friend moved away from me and now lives in the country and I hardly ever see him his sister and little brother anymore the 4 of us know each other since we were kids and I kinda miss them a lot 😢😢😢😢
It’s when I do something that I think is funny and my friend gets annoyed that I start to overthink. I realize that friendship is not forever. I end up crying and regretting my decision to try to be “funny”. I stop talking and just stay quiet. When my friend tries to be funny, I laugh along and act like I don’t think I’m annoying and that they’d be better off without me. What happened to them is what I’m afraid will happen to me…
Man, I really identified with your comment, sometimes I say something that I think is "funny" and the people around me get irritated! I keep thinking I'm being a nuisance.
I'm always that person who gets left out, if I'm there it's fine, but if I'm not there it's not like I'm missed. It's always the same thing, a new person arrives in the group of friends and wins everyone over and makes me being forgotten, even though I've been there for longer (this has happened more than once).
I just wanna remind both of u that friendship is a two way street and if you don't like how your friends are treating you you're allowed to talk to them about it or cut them off.
The Fox and The Hound is timeless. When I was a little girl I didn't like watching "old" movies, but this was still one of my favorites.

When I was a boy, my heart could never take the fact that Tod was never reunited with the old Widow. And then I grew up, life got difficult, life got dark, and I experienced similar kinds of heartbreak and now I feel like I went through the same thing Tod went through. So now I can watch the ending without feeling sad cause I feel like that's me all along.

I loved this movie as a child at first I favored the fox thinking he was in the right but over time I learned both were in wrongs and rights both had different perspectives, past, and futures they both thought the other was drifting away not realizing they too were pushing away as well. It just reminds me everyone has different reason and a story

I remember this.... I forgot how it had a place in my heart! I read the book, which was based of the movie. I'm not sure if I watched it, but I've read it and it made me sad, and a bit happy ofcourse. It's been really long, I'm gonna read it again now. I love this story so much.

Its like 4:28 and I haven't watched any thing that made me cry for a minute but I immediately balled my eyes out.
Vent:
When I was like 4, my aunt brought me one of my cousins old books and I started reading them with my dad. At that time we all lived in the same city just not the same house. once I was finished with all the others, my father started reading the Found and the Hound to me. i still remember that the book was about a scene where they played hide and seek.

Six months after that, our family dog died. She was a Chihuahua mixed with a pitbull (atleast that's what the breeder said) yet she was so sweet. she's been there form the start and I miss her dearly (for those who question her name was Charm because her eyelids looked like the pink ones). We buried her in the back yard as we knew we weren't going to sell the house even after it's inherited. Every morning, I would sit in the grass with the book and red it to her because I knew it would make her happy, reminder who and what she is, and of the Fox's she used to chase in the forests
