Rest in peace sweet, sweet gen 4 cars, Ole BP Benny Parsons and my man Cousin Carl's glory days.
Even though they didn't get the championship, Roush Racing gave me so many reasons to cheer in 2005. Loved seeing Mark, Greg, Matt, Kurt and Carl leading so many laps and winning races. This was a good time in my life.
Roush Racing didn’t win the championship in 2011 either.
Hear those engine sounds nascar?? People miss that
They're still pretty loud.
The peak rpm’s were higher. We miss the scream of 9800 at the end of the straights.
@@King1614 agreed. But if you have been at any rases with this 550 package. I can promise you. It's still loud even though they only top out at 8500 rpm
@@King1614 Yeah. With The Next-Gen/Gen-7 Car.
still sounds 11000 times better than f1
Texas: exists
A driver of the 99: I can win you
Daniel Suarez: so you're saying I have a chance?
Thanks NASCAR for the upload.
Thanks@@Pen2ke for the upload
@FitnessFightClub not a fact, also why'd you break the flow
190.000 fans ? Mindblowing
Lucky to get sixty thousand there now...
Old Texas was better than the repave
Such a shame this sport isn't what it once was. I miss these days and this kind of racing, not all the gimmicks we have today.
@@bradleyhudgins1005 *six thousand
@@bradleyhudgins1005 Tms manager just said seating capacity is 46k.
I hope to watch a Nascar Race from the stands next year. Cheers from Brazil.
Miss these cars so much...
Tbt to when new tires actually meant something
Carl Edwards would not win again until June of 2007 at Michigan, 52 races later.
i know it's kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream new movies online?
@Theodore Darian Flixportal :D
@Emilio Alfonso Thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it !
@Theodore Darian no problem :D
This race is featured in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, but it takes place in the daytime and the FOX broadcast team is shown covering it.
"We like what we're seeing"
I miss Texas Motor Speedway with this quality level of racing.....
this is a much better race and broadcast than anything today, multiple phantom debris cautions though... very sad lol
man i wish i was born earlier. As a matt kenseth fan it gets pretty hard to watch him finish 26th every race. I mean he was pretty good a few years ago, but he was so good in the early 2000's
He was still very good in 2015. But Logano took away his chances of winning that season. Payback is a bitch :D
This is the first race where I've seen twisted sister cars in action. Been looking for these in a while....
I miss Biffle's National Guard paint scheme
Such a good team too.
So nice to see a race with Mark Martin again
This was my first ever race!
*The 2010 Fall Texas race is knocking at the door*
You do realize they already did that one right?
Oh yeah lol
I miss the old track.
I miss drivers like Mark and Carl especially Mark my favorite
Who???
@@kylehunt9668 nice Profile Pic 👀
@@marvinlinnarz5856 thanks
I remember going to school as a kid in Ohio and seeing kids wearing Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart Gear who knows if it will ever be the same as it use to be
Biffle lost the championship in this race :(
Awesome race glad it's on the classics! Even though Greg Biffle had a horrible race, showed some talent by wrecking 3 times without tearing the car up, had a little bit of damage from the 22 but he had 3 opportunities to be on the rollback.
Also a huge hell yeah to Mears, Vickers, and Hamlin for running awesome all day. And MF Mike Bliss running top 15 all day long.
Francis Ferko's race. He never even showed up.
This will never happen but nascar should bring back that engine sound
Real cars, with horsepower, and with NO splitter
I think Carl is going to win
This is peak post Dale Sr. NASCAR. It was all down hill from here
Good...
Denny Hamlin!
Look at all this great racing without the following:
- PJ1
- Restricted horse power
- About half the downforce
Wonder if there's something to this....
Wow
2005 was gordons worst year of his career at the time, still had 4 wins, thats crazy
What’s crazy is that Jeff Gordon had more DNF’s in 2005 than he earned in wins & Top5 finishes. 9 DNF’s, 4 Wins, & 8 Top5’s.
worst season was 2008 tbh
it was roush vs tony stewart lol.
And this was the final race of Kurt Busch in Roush as he gets arrested next week
Hello NASCAR my name is Kym clark this is my daughters RUclips account mine is on my xbox one and it doesn't let you comment so I have to do it on here lol... but anyway i was thinking and i reckon it would be sooo awesome if youz made full back to back seasons in full 1080p HD from 1990 up to the 2012 nascar season and even all the trucks seasons and nationwide xfinity seasons but make them like how youz make these full races oh please lol can youz please make playlists like that all races all in perfect order one race after the other back to back in hd can youz please make this happen
2:17:05 flybys
Cousin Carl did a backfilp
Sucks this isn’t in 16:9 😕
Ok. After The 2023 NASCAR Season...
Take, A 1-Year Break From Texas Motor Speedway, Get The Entire PJ1 Off The Track, Bring Back The Backstretch Grandstands, But Keep The BIG HOSS TV, In The Backstretch, Reconfiguration Turns #1 And #2, And Race Again, In 2025.
I have a better configuration in mind for Texas. How about this: 32 degree banking in all four turns, 16 degree banking on the dogleg frontstretch?
@@tomdalfonzo9959 Nah. I Prefer The Old Texas Motor Speedway Configuration, From The 2000's.
Bring It Back, BUT KEEP, The Big HOSS TV In The Backstretch.
I hope that they do exactly that when they renovate TMS
@davidpeters2625 Yeah.
After The 2023 NASCAR Season, Take A 1-Year Break, In 2024, And Race Again In 2025.
MEARS!!!!!
How Steve O'Donnell thinks what we have is better than this is mind-blowing.
He never said this
@@joshjarnagin3161 Doesn't matter if he's still in denial of how objectively bad the 550HP package is.
@@SpaceMetalFerrari248 It does matter because he never said what you claimed. The gen 4 is never coming back and it’s time to accept that
@@joshjarnagin3161 Just because he didn't say it, doesn't mean he didn't imply it.
Nowhere in my comment did I say that the Gen 4 should come back(albeit, saying that, if NASCAR ever decides to go to a package that heavily resembles the racing style it produced when they release the Gen7, NASCAR IS SAVED FOREVER!) You're strawmanning my comment that was never even close to the point of my original post in the first place, you hypocrite. You said "he never said this", yet you put words in my mouth I never remotely implied to begin with. 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 were years that heavily resembled the Gen 4 style of racing in the Gen 6 because of the low downforce and high horsepower package. Think before you strawman. Don’t be an idiot.
@@joshjarnagin3161 That's not the point the point he is making. He's saying that Steve O'Donnell is impressed with the on track product we have now and refuses to take anything from gen 4 to apply to gen 7. Instead he wants to apply a very broken aero package that was supposed to be "temporary" on to the gen 7.
Back when drivers were able to make a pass...
Green flag
They are lucky Carl Edwards retired
