I enjoyed your day on THREAD. I understand on a utilitarian quilt using polyester thread due to the use of the quilt, however from a textile standpoint I was taught to match thread to fabric type. If I'm using cotton it should be cotton. Our grandmothers used cotton and they wore fine through their washings.
If you purchase the masterclass, does that mean you get any changes or updates to the masterclass as they happen and are you able to attend any live session down the road when you open up for enrollment?
You for sure receive any and all updates and new material. So far I've invited earlier alumni to join in the live sessions, but that all depends on how many join 😄
Ooohhh…nice new quilt hanging behind you! I have been giving serious thought to enrolling in your masterclass. Life is so busy for me but I hear that I can go at my own pace and will have the materials available to me long after the class ends. Do you have a max enrollment?
You might like that new hanging system for quilts by Sew Tites. Magnets; so it’s easy to change out quilts. 😊
I love your videos. I seem to always quilt the same pattern go to pattern. I need to be more comfortable quilting other patterns.
Watched the replay from IL.

I’ve heard that over the years too…although I also think thread development has come a long way and the fibers may be more compatible.

So far, no. It could happen if there get to be too many for a Zoom session😁
Have you had a customer bring you a quilt that was hand basted all over? If so, how do you load the quilt on a longarm frame?
I haven’t. And if I did it would have to come out before I load on the longarm.
@@StitchedBySusan thanks. I was trying to avoid that. 😁
