- Todays Minecraft tutorial will show you how to make an easy and super efficient 1.16 (Cobble-)Stone Generator. This stone generator produces up to 270+ stone a minute and is perfect for every Minecraft survival world. There is a easy design without redstone for every skyblock world and a even faster ctone generator with the use of a special redstone circuit. The cobblestone machines do NOT need any mods or datapacks to work.

After experimenting for multiple hours I came up with this super fast design. However shortly after finializing the machine, I found out that a quite similiar generator already exist, created by Shulkercraft. I decided to upload this tutorial of my version anyway. You can attach smelting system to collection system so you get stone from normal pickaxe and smooth stone from silk touch pickaxe turn of fuel section in smelter to obtain cobblestone .

I am using a Cobblestone generator to make stones for the Villager trading.
I can use silk touch on the pickaxe tho, but I still use Fortune/ Normal pickaxe and then use a hopper lead to the furnace to smelt the cobblestone into Stone. (Actually, I used the chest before the furnace to avoid overfilling the furnace)
This progress takes longer but the experience gained from it can mend my pickaxe. (I have mending on it)
My tool is a diamond pickaxe with all the highest enchantments available. From my experience, it will need a line of 5 cobblestones( 5 streams of water and 5 streams of lava) or higher, without the use of the piston to gain the highest efficiency.

How to make a super fast stone generator!
Let's start with the collecting system.
Use any block you like here.
Next we need to place some trapdoors.
The trapdoors will keep the water/lava in place.
Now add water and lava.
Place some more blocks.
The first part is now complete.
Let's give it a try in survival. :)
Great for every skyblock world!
Time for an upgrade.
Dig a 4x4x3 hole.
This will be the on/off-switch.
Place two repeaters with 4 and 3 ticks delay.
Same on this side.
Just follow the video. :)
Place your pistons.
Finish your generator by filling in the floor.
The Noteblock turns the machine on.
The pressure plate turns it off.
All you need now is an ...

And a beacon with Haste II.

I'm a bedrock edition engineer, i can make this generator work in Bedrock edition, same with the step one, but the redstone has to be different.

Does the lava overflow for you after mining for a while? I've made a few like this but it always overflows and I have to remove the lava and replace again so I had to make another generator with redstone

I made this stone generator quite easily and I wanted to share some things that don't bother making the piston part. I made it but it doesn't works very well, remember it is my experience, You can just adjust the cursor in a way that it mines two blocks or three.
Results:
You can get up to 2 stacks (128) by investing a full stone pick axe on it. I had some used pick axes and they got me like a stack and 50 stones (114). I also had a half damaged iron pick axe with efficiency 2,3,4 I don't remember but it also had unbreaking 2 it was half used. It gave me 5 stacks of stone (320)
Conclusion:
I prefer not to make the piston part. You will get 2 stacks of cobblestone per stone pick axe

piston part worked perfectly fine for me following exactly what was shown here. it basically means you can hold down the mouse button and then go do something else and it'll optimise it perfectly for you. Perhaps the pistons might work less effectively on bedrock edition?
after reading the comment more i understand why it doesn't work very well - you aren't using the optimal pickaxe with haste. The piston part is only suited for the instant mining of such a pickaxe, as it can break the blocks fast enough to keep up, while any slower pickaxe will just get messed up by it.

1- is there a reason for the pistons other than to get both sides
2- will this work on bedrock edition
3- is the note block and pressure plate necessary, or can you just use levers
4- Do you have a survival world and is this in it

To those who are on bedrock/console this won't work unless you put trapdoors behind the trapdoors it stops the water from flowing 2 ways so the only way the water is flowing is the way you want

ok little help, doest it HAVE to be trapdoors and glass? can it just be made with all cobblestone? also my lava seems to run fast and I have to keep replacing my water along the edges cuz the lava drops fast once and a while and recks the process... not sure if the trap doors and glass help this somehow???... minor issues but amazing build and it helps a ton 👍👍

I have a Logitech macro keyboard. This is so easy. Just change your mouse button to a letter key, set up the macro button to auto attack, adjust the delay so you don't burn energy/food excessively fast, and you can go AFK and it will run automatically, breaking cobblestone until you turn off the macro button. This is what I do on my skeleton xp farm to avoid carpel tunnel.

If on hard difficulty, you need a regen beacon otherwise you wi starve to death and all your items will despawn. Your pickaxe will also break after 8000 stone mined, even if it is netherite u3. If you have instamine then you can mine way more than 4 stacks per minute.
If you’re not on hardcore, I think setting the peaceful to difficulty would be a good choice.

Edit: the lava comes out too and turns everything into cobblestone (I want stone and it takes fuel to turn cobblestone into stone)
