- Hi friends! I have finally filmed this dorm tour for you! The editing is pretty subpar due to having to censor my school's name in A LOT of my belongings(I have school spirit, what can I say?). I really hope y'all like this video! I have a few video ideas for what's coming up, but comment if you'd like to see anything specific!

I'll see you all in the next video! Buh-bye!
I’m thinking of being my cat to college as an esa as well! She really helps with my depression but I’m wondering, how do you keep her from disturbing your roommates and what tips do you recommend
I was looking for a video exactly like you made. Made so happy because of my situation i want to adopt a cat really bad and i thought the cat might see it as a jail but i love them and seeing your cat very comfortable made me very happy . Thank you very much
The dorms that are pet friendly are about the same size as your room. Do you think my cat would be okay in that size? She’s a senior and i’ve had her all my life. Her food, litter box, water, toys ect are in my room and she’s always on my bed w me, but sometimes she goes out and walks around upstairs. Do you think she’d be stressed from the space difference? Like I said she’s old but healthy so i’m just not sure :/
If she is leash trained you could always take her on a walk
You deserve more credit, my friend 👏
Beautiful room! What about a cat-friendly plant in there? Well, not too cat-friendly actually :-)
Christopher Routsis thanks! Yeah, I’m not really a plant person... I know most people are but I just don’t enjoy keeping them.. lol
@@darynnicole7003 Sure, that's fine! Keep up!
does the litter box make the room smell?
If you clean it everyday it won't as far as my experience
Prob that no smell litter
do you leave the cat in the room while you go out for class? I want to adopt a cat and I live in a dorm too! I just need to know if it is okay to leave a cat in a room if I need to go out
Depends how long the class is I think. I'm not American and I don't know how everything works with dorms and stuff but I'm planning on adopting a kitten in a studio apartment as well. I personally think you need a lot more enrichment for the cat than shown in this video. Utalise the vertical space, please. I think this video is a bit strange tbh, yes she has all the essentials for the cat cramped in there but this cat is gonna be bored out of his mind.. cats need to be able to roam, climb etc. Shelves on the wall etc can help w this
@@lucac8593 thank you I was thinking the same thing . . .
Am getting a room soon and want to adopt a cat, the room isn't big and do completely agree about cats needing to have a big space but do you think that'll they will still be bored if your there with them 90% of the time and entertaining them, I have been doing research on what they need but am holding back because am not sure if the space I have is good enough for the cat.
@@Bibi-po4ec the space should be enough, you can always take them on a walk
So I'm considering keeping a cat in my home. I live in a single room in the basement, so outside my room there's 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and separate "living room" (because no one hangs there, they just store a bunch of crap) so, I have a decent size room where I can keep a queen sized bed dresser TV with stand a mini fridge closet and big window and enough space in the middle for my carpet and comfy chair. So you get an idea. I'm thinking i could range between keeping them in my room and sleeping at night when I'm home or close by, and keeping something outside my room but I have a nice little spot close to my door i can set something up for them to chill out at until I'm back home. I know I definitely need to cat proof that living room some more like close any small openings they could get into. I think that would be my main concern, because the door next to my door that leads upstairs is sealed shut but still enough for a cat to crawl into, so I'd have to close that up well which would be solved with cardboard and tape 🤣 and there's a old couch with openings that I could probably conceal from them? That just has a bunch old crap sitting on it. Other than that, I don't think it would be too much of a problem and it just make sure my living environment is comfortable for them lol. Watching how you live in your privacy with your furry companion makes me feel more comfortable about this! I've been going through tough times, from breakups to losing friends and family members 💔 all I do with my life is work do martial arts when I'm not home but when I'm home I play music video games watch anime or RUclips and listen to music. I think having a cat would be exciting for me, because of how well I resonate with them. Thank you for this video !
What do you do about hair just chill with it
How do you avoid your cat eating the wires?
pan honestly I’ve never had that issue with Luna! My brother’s cat has eaten through chargers since she was a kitten but Luna has just never tried it. Sorry that this reply isn’t much help!
@@darynnicole7003 your cat is so behaved and nice!! so lucky 😂 mine loves wires and anything not nice 😂😂
If you really have a hard time with your cat chewing on the wires. (My new kitten has a tendency to chew on cords) What I found that is amazing at stopping her from chewing them is spraying or rubbing bitter apple on the wires. One taste and my cat stops. The brand I use is Grannick's Bitter Apple. It says that it is for dogs, but it works just fine for my cat. You can also spray it on other things that your cat chews on that you don't want them to. Hope that helps.
FYI: bananas last longer when stored at room temp🙈
William Buckley omg I didn’t know that! I actually hide most of my food bc Luna will eat it all! Lol
@@darynnicole7003 lol even i live in a dorm but pretty messed up lol i have 2 cats... This is my private acc i am also a youtuber lol
Oh so sweet the cat i Love cats🥰❤️
who was waiting to see her cat so you skip 😶
Does your school let you have the pet?
Eat me Like spaghetti yeah! She’s a registered Emotional Support Animal
@@darynnicole7003 so glad you can keep her with you! My furbaby won't eat if the food & water bowls are next to the liter box. Apparently he thinks it's like eating in the bathroom ;-)
Geralyn Pickering yes we did run into that problem! I have moved her food away from her litter now (obviously I live elsewhere now) but I did need to move her litter box to a corner of the room so she would continue to use the litter box instead of my laundry hamper! 🙄😂
Sis the kings island stuffed animal might suggest you live in ohio
abbey rosey I do not ☺️ thanks tho!
Do the cat litter smell ?
Bagus A I use an equine “litter” that’s pine-based and it really doesn’t smell. I clean the litter box once a week and the smell has never bothered me
Daryn Nicole once a week???? it doesn’t accumulate?
@@darynnicole7003 Poor cat. A tiny room and a litter box cleaned once a week. Cats like to be clean. I cleaned the litter box everyday.
@@adc2327 okay not to say that this isn’t a super old video and comment, but first of all, the is only my bedroom, there was a whole other part of the apartment that my cat had free roam of as long as I was home. She’s gotten along fine. I’m not saying that it’s best for all cats, but my cat personally was just fine in this situation. Second, the litter box was completely cleaned out once a week. I scoop the litter box AT LEAST once a day. If I completely cleaned out the litter box more than once a week not only would it be a waste of litter, but it’d be very stressful for an animal to not be able to mark their territory. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. But my cat and I live a very happy life :)
@@darynnicole7003 I was just going by your post. You said you cleaned the litter box once a week. You were cleaning it every day! You are right about a complete change needed only once a week. Glad you and kitty Luna are doing well.
