Im so glad I discovered this series!. Love guitars, especially Martin guitars! MR. Earle knows his stuff! Best of 2 worlds, hearing about guitars from the great Steve Earle!
Patrick Davitt was the guy who managed to get me your autograph when you played in Regina, SK. I treasure it to this day!!!! Love your RUclips program!
These videos are great. I’m always on a lookout for the next one. Will miss them when all this ends. It’s a mini gig, and for you Steve it must be an incredible change from touring. And when you are back on the road don’t forget the UK and Wales. Thanks Steve.
Steve, until I received the album order up here in Saskatchewan, Canada (finally 5 days ago) I had no idea Kelly had passed away. I’m devastated by this news. My mom and I spent about 20 minutes talking with him in Winnipeg a couple years ago after the concert as you were busy talking with other fans. He signed our shirts. So special. KELLY LOONEY FOREVER!! Best Bass guy. I’m so sad. Thanks for this Guitar Town Series. Means a lot! Love you pal. Can’t wait to see you again and you’ve lost weight. Looking great! I’d date ya! 😉❤️🇨🇦❤️
Jaime...I’m from SK too up till 2 years ago. I remember seeing Steve in Regina at the Centre of the Arts - Christ I can’t remember when. Roll back to Guitar Town time and I remember winning that tape from CKSW radio in Swift Current. Wore it out 🤣. What a great guy and a great channel here!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦 #306
“..and no,..I did not kill the elephant.” Sounded great. None of that bass to overload the mic. This is a brilliant premise-to highlight these gems, the ones that survived the test of time and human foible.
Your videos are great because you aren't trying a hawk anything. It's more like acoustic guitar university. Of course you know that the piker makes the instrument and you being a good picker make them shine in all their wood box glory. Thanks man.
A lot of brilliant sounds coming from some old wood ! As far as lighting and audio PLEASE don’t change anything , it makes everyone feel as if they were at Guy’s house Christmas Eve 1975 !🎵🎶
It's refreshing to see somebody who appreciates small bodied guitars.
The lighting and production is great as far as I'm concerned. I'm just happy to learn about these old guitars and to hear the songs.
Lyrics from this song are engraved on the inside of my wedding ring...

Thank you so much for doing this, I'd be interested in knowing about the strings you use on these beautiful guitars.
And by the way love the Levon Helm t-shirt !!
I also have a 1931 Martin 0-21. It has a special sound.
What about lessons of some of your songs on a variety of your amazing guitars Steve?

I want to see the paintings in the book on the stand in the corner.
Now that Matt is closed, where do you buy?...Nashville? Tarzana?...and thanks again...this kind of info is hard to come by..
I just can’t see buying old guitars without a truss rod. And they cost a lot. 😄
Dig the shirt!

Give us a lesson of how you do your finger style
Travis Picking like Carter and Chet and stuff.
Travis Merle
Merle Travis. This is why i cant cite things properly. Im dyslexic and so i transpose.😁😂😂😋
Thats also an unoriginal joke that my guitar teacher told me.
He did an instructional DVD with homespun tapes a few years ago.
