There was no way he was going to beat Seal or Wayne Brady in a singing competition, just like neither of them would have a chance against Victor in a basketball competition. He is extremely talented though. If they had to sing and then play some 1-on-1 he'd be the champion no contest.
Season 2 really showed how performing is more than just singing. Wayne Brady was just a step above everyone with not only his amazing voice, but his dancing and stage presence. I'm not saying no other celeb didn't have those qualities, but Wayne Brady/Fox was just the best
