Sonlight Kids Worship: Acts

HELLO my friend:))) I hope that you're well, and that school hasn't been giving you TOO much homework so far!
When you hear the word "church", what is it that you think of? What is the church? Some of us may say it is where we go every Sunday, I know some of us will say that it is the place where we meet God, or where God is. Or some might talk about the people and pastors that we know at our church when we think of what the church is.
But with covid-19, we've stopped going to church. We are no longer allowed to come to the building and worship like we used to. So does this mean that our worship ends? OF COURSE NOT!! But why is that?
"Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple" (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).
YOU, my friend, are called a "holy temple". You are where the Holy Spirit rests in. Not our building, not only with pastors, not in our small groups, but in YOU, when you accept and love Jesus Christ.
If Jesus is in us, where do we need to go to worship? You and I can worship can worship ANYWHERE we go! Even in our homes, in our cars, in our bathrooms, in our schools, in our activities... because Jesus is within us, and we are where His presence is.
As we celebrate our 49th anniversary, may you be reminded that Christ lives in you, and you are always with the most powerful being in the UNIVERSE who sees you, knows you, loves you, and is worthy of our worship every moment.
