Just a heads up, they've changed the ray tracing button to "in-canvas render", the render button with the teapot that he clicked in this now does a different thing.
@Paul This is great! Super helpful for the ID class that we're working with
Thanks for the awesome video. It really improved my renders..
Thanks, that was a great tutorial!
Things have come so far since using SA4D and Imagine back in the old days - the render quality of Fusion 360 is actually quite mindblowing and so easy to use.
I remember playing with Imagine in DOS. Haven't heard that name in ages!
Wow thank you, in 20 minutes I became a fusion360 render master ahaaha, really helpful, thanks!
great video, thank you very much
very helpful - thanks for this!!
thanks a lot i was stuck in between this video took me out of it. Much respect.
Thank you! Quality tutorial :)
I completed a course on fusion 360 on Coursera ... And I immediately recognised your voice ...... Your voice is so calming ..👍😀

@Parker Darian thanks, signed up and it seems to work =) I really appreciate it !
@Sage Zayn No problem =)
Thank you!
thanks!
is it possible to display the same frame like on 3dsmax ?
could you show how to render with bump-maps and where to get some?
It has been a while since I have used it in Vray with Rhino :)
i did not have that many items in my steel or any other materials what should i do?
Good video!
Glad you liked it! Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already!
Would someone please share some information about whether Fusion 360 will use OpenGL based Hardware Acceleration?!?! I am trying to keep Fusion 360 in mind before my first build (among other things), and I cannot find any real information about video cards...
How to flip the background? In render it looks like my part is flipped, but i don't want to move it, i'd rather move the background.
What are the entries in the library which have different advanced render features?
my shadows dont cast on render mode whyyy i turned on the ground plane and tried changing it to solid color to environment and still it does not cast any shadow
Really loved your video. I am quite happy to see replies to latest comments. Also can we get a new version of this that explains the latest changes?
So how does rendering helps when 3d printing? My printer has white filiment so when printing the object will be white no matter what correct. Also i been using tinkercad and i can do pretty much anything people do in fusion 360 right? One of the differences is rendering but how does that helps when printining?
So rendering changes apearance of whatever u are creating innfusing 360 correct. But how would that help when printing in my ender -3 s1 pro if iam using white filiment?
At first, I thought the fans turning on at 9:46 were my laptop's fans, then I noticed it was the guy's computer turning its fans on due to resource-intensive rendering. You can start to hear the fans really kicking in at around 10:00. At 10:36, it sounds like his computer's getting ready for take-off.
Anyway, this was a helpful video.
Great Video, but i wanted to add LED on my render but it do not appear
What do you mean, they don't appear? Can you double check the solutions here: forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/emissive-light/m-p/8636068#M48607
Hi, why aren't there any LEDs in my library?
I don't have a bunch of these features in the latest Fusion 360. What gives?
no LED lighting options anymore, just displays, why are they removing features?
We're not. Try searching the appearances because LEDs are definitely still there. Maybe you were in physical material?
how to change led color?
From the appearances options you can change all kinds of options, including color. Although this is very old UI, the edit options still apply! www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/making-it-look-good-apply-and-edit-materials-in-fusion360/
What is cloud credit?
It's our way to provide flexible, pay-as-you go access to cloud services, including rendering, simulation, and generative designs. See more here: www.autodesk.com/products/cloud-credits
Is fusion 360 a very used program in 2020?
I think in the not commercial 3d printing form yes. I myself use it every time designing something.
5 years and fusion 360 still can't render animated objects, still cannot properly export obj/fbx
