Oooooh, 4wk retention. Im trying to get there, but I get 3 weeks. I loved watching this video, but then I get super happy when you pop up in notifications ❤❤
I just did my sister lashes, it's my third time doing lashes.. third time was a charm.. learning from your channel has been great. I love wet lash looks.. this one, I want to pursue more in lash art.
I love wet lash look. I get great retention with wet lash which is another reason I like it so much. This was so helpful. I have been lashing for 2.5 years and I get 2 and 3 week retention with most of my clients.. I'm always learning. It was helpful to understand that layers are not exact. I can place the different lengths in a section with a focus on the shortest lengths on the layer closest to the waterline, or the bottom layer.
After using foreplay or bonder on the lash strips to make wet lashes are you still able to fan those out later for another set? Reason I ask is because I’ve used a different brand of super bonder like that and I found that the lashes became sticky afterwards and hard to fan.
Great question! No, once you put foreplay on the strip it will be much more challenging to fan them afterwards. If you’d like to use just a little of the strip for wet lashes, try only applying product to a small section of the strip or cutting a tiny chunk of the strip off and use that for wet lashes instead of using the entire strip ❤️
I’m obsessed with all your sets and would loveee to recreate this one! I’m curious what type of fans you used in this set, please correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like you used more closed wet style fans for the top layer and once you started on those bottom layers you applied shorter narrow fanned lashes to incorporate more density right?
Okay, off the subject but… I have a client (a few actually) that are obsessed with the care eye look, but their eyes are descending and don’t support a cat eye. My question is… is there any way to give these ladies a cat eye look without dragging their eye down or dropping their look??
Hii thanks for reaching out with your question! The answer is YES you absolutely can still give them a cat eye look, without drooping the eyes 😍 Here is what you will want to do: 1. Create a squirrel/kitten eye map instead of a cat eye map. This is where you place your longest length (the emphasis area) at the arch of the eyebrow, then drop your lengths quickly for the very outer corner. 2. For the emphasis area, you will want to direct these extensions out towards the ear, this will help you achieve that swooping cat eye effect. Just make sure that you gradually transition from direction to another. 3. Consider jumping 2 lengths and bumping up your curl for the emphasis area. For example, lets say your mapping is 8-14mm. To jump a length & curl, your map will look like this: 8c, 9c, 10c, 11c, 12c, 14CC, 13CC, 12CC, 11CC, 10CC This will provide additional lift. It may sound scary jumping a length but I promise it will look beautiful! Have you tried a Squirrel eye map? For my clients that can’t hold up the cat eye I do Squirrel eye.
@@lizbethgarcia3355 no I haven’t! Thank you very much!! Do you change up your curl?
