Wish you had made this, or maybe, I found you, when this dungeon was brand new. Needed to brush up on this dungeon and just remember the old guides were vague and terrible. Great guide. Quick and concise.
UnderROT? More like UnderNOT cause there's NOT gonna be any problem timing this key now thanks to this fantastic guide! Honestly so excited to see what score you have after week one of the season since you know these dungeons so well already, I'm betting you'll be 3k before Saturday! Thankyou for this EGGcellent guide VesperalTV you shiny headed dungeon expert!
Great guide, however I was thinking, if you just tunnel the boss, will the energy fill up quicker? As far as I know, the titan keeper takes care of the adds, so only swap to the last add to kill it quicker?
This. Im so tired of watching dps tunnel the adds when the Titan does 900 million damage to the add. If your dps is high enough that you are spawning more than a set of adds every 16 seconds then sure, feel free to cleave a bit, otherwise Focus the BOSS!!!!
1st day out 5 failed underrot key runs, all the other 7 new dungesons completed in time the 1st time - just to give a ball park to how horrid this place is for pugs. day one 7/8 - no underrot, even on lower keys from 3 to 8 keys no go thus far. 1 person cant solo kick the entire place, n that is exactly why it sucks bad blizz needs to nerf some of that down a bit timing wise to make it realistic for play
Blizz just reduced the completion timer by a minute for this dungeon, which is a horrible idea. It was always a very strict dungeon with the mechanics back in BFA, and it's no different this time around. A lot of the players that haven't run this one before think it's just another dungeon that you simply faceroll everything, but it doesn't work that way. Tyrannical is actually easier here than Fortified as well, because this entire dungeon is loaded to the brim with even more punishing mechanics with the trash all the way through.
There are too many people going into this dungeon completely blind and ruining keys. Failing mechanics in this dungeon is an easy wipe (even at lower keys), so referring to a guide like this is highly encouraged. Said mechanics affect the entire group if they are not managed correctly, so trying to just play it be ear in this dungeon is a horrible idea.
@@belisarian6429 The adventure guide goes over the boss mechanics and what to do for each role, but has nothing on the trash encounters, and would be difficult to implement that information in-game. It doesn't take long to get used to the mechanics, anyway. I prefer to NOT go into dungeons completely blind so I'm able to carry my own weight and clear keys easier and faster. At lower key levels, most dungeons are not as strict on mechanics as Underrot, anyway. Sometimes you need to put in a little effort and research a few things in order to have a smooth progression, too. These guides that are uploaded here are for those wanting to push higher keys, optimize their routing for better completion times, and which targets are to be considered priority. You don't HAVE to look up a guide at all, but don't expect to be pushing higher keys without doing a bit of research or asking questions first.
@@Leprocotic I also prefer to have more information beforehand than just winging it. However for instance in Final Fantasy they have unified clear indicators for boss aoe stuff (geometrical outlines on the ground), which makes dodging them and recognizing them much easier, compare it to VOI shaman boss earth swirlies which are bigger than graphic effect they have. Or Underrot second boss breath range is hard to eyeball.(to be fair to bliz they have been pushing for unified effects sort of, spread damage abilities have similar visual effects) But maybe wow would look too arcadeish dunno.
@@belisarian6429 They could most certainly improve on visuals. There are many instances where any swirlies and other ground effects are using similar colors to the ground they're on, which makes them hard to see with everything else going on in hectic fights. It was a big problem in season 1 whenever Thundering would trigger, causing everything to become darker, and any ground effects were even more difficult to see. Court of stars was a big offender for this with the first and last bosses since they had almost no contrast against the ground. Fortunately, we don't have any seasonal affix this time around, so dungeons are arguably easier this time around, with the exception of a bit of tuning of mechanics and boss damage/health in a couple. As for the 2nd boss in Underrot, you should not be trying to out-range the Indigestion attack, since it is only focused on the tank. That can be easily avoided by just not being in front of where the boss is facing, and the tank should be facing that attack away from the group anyway.
Clearest guide I've seen for Underrot - thanks for posting!
Thanks dude!

Why was the EGG capitalised?
Very clear to understand guide, thank you!
Thanks!!
hello, i was wondering how do you set up the stacks of barbed shot to show next to your character like you have?
Personal Resource Display in default UI

This was the tactic in BFA.
Pretty sure it will be the dominant strategy this time around as well.
The Titan generally focuses one but yeah I guess if you’re tank is fine you can just try and spawn them asap to cleave it down

Yeah dungeons dependant on kicks are annoying

Bro. Take a breath. 😂
OR you could just que an underrot and learn the same thing in the time

@@Leprocotic I sometimes wonder if game could be designed better, so we can spend less time fishing guides on internet and more time playing.
