I found Twin Tribes on a mashup of post-punk-goth songs. "The River" was the song and its been my favorite since. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I'm leaving my favorite danceclub in Houston Tx, Numbers. And would you know it, a car drove by with the windows down, blasting "The River". It felt so right. What a night. But i digress. Would love to see what you could do with that song. Burn bright and shine on 🎩
"The River", amazing song. I choose "Monolith" because I love that synth bass. In my version I tried to recreate that sound, not identical but pretty similar. I've found out Twin Tribes thanks to RUclips advices while I was listening to She Past Away, another great dark wave duo from Turkey.
@@matt_one I see your reasoning behind Monolith. Yesss SPA recently played in Houston and I wished I could've gone. I dig they're deep synth beats as well. Turkey? So THATS where they're from. I love songs I can't understand. Kinda like listening to Rammstein
@@VoidVintage I instantly loved that strange language, never heard before a Turkish song. I don't care if I don't understand, I don't care what is said in a song, for me the voice is like a musical instrument. If it sounds good, is good!

The original idea was to get an instrumental version of Monolith using AI isolation tools, but I didn't get usable results. I've used only the isolated guitars from the original, but the result was very dirty, so I had to dub them. I completely rebuilt the other parts, drums, bass... and added some sounds, including from The Cure's song.
It seems unbelievable that the daughter of a Russian oligarch has such a poor lifestyle! As deddy he is bad ... as prince charming worse ... we can only have a merchant relation ... i think
