In 1.9 there was a bug that I abused and thought was big, but people didn't talk that much about it 😅 If you were playing on a mobile at that time, it was really easy to beat any online level - you needed to simultaneously hold delete button on a level and a play button and the level got "erased" with a basic stereo madness song. Good video! Decently researched, a lot of the facts are on point and the overall editing is quite nice and easy to follow. However, there are some errors/obscurities in the video we've noticed that would be good for us to mention, mostly to clarify on a few pointers made in the video and to help increase yours and the viewers understanding on this topic at hand: 2:12 - We theorise DarkX sent an email to RobTop requesting all of his levels to be removed from the servers, as there's a possibility it was deleted by at the latest 19th April 2014. 2:42 - They were released from 1.4 to 1.5, with Origin being released a few hours after Update 1.5 was released to the public. All four levels were released in just a month, from 8th Jan 2014 to 31st Jan 2014. 3:06 - He used it because of an exploit that allowed users to verify levels in practice mode by pausing at the end screen before you hit the wall. It was patched in Update 1.3. 3:12 - I don't think this was the case, all levels were updated to 1.5 and 1.6 as an attempt to force players to update I think. There's levels like "Trumpsta" which was released in 1.6 but built on Update 1.00 of the game and was somehow featured. There's also five rated levels released during Update 1.6 that was made and released on Update 1.4 of the game. 3:43 - There's currently no proof he ever reset/rollback the servers, what he did was shut down the servers for a few minutes to patch the exploit and delete the broken levels. 4:45 - It had over 800,000 objects. 5:16 - This version had only ~500,000 objects, the moderators approved the "optimised" version verified and released by Stilluetto to be rated, but of course it was still too much for Geometry Dash to handle so Rob unrated it within two minutes. :D 5:24 - Update 1.4 wasn't the exact cause, but it stems from creators reaching the 100KB size limit at the time, causing levels to not upload properly to the servers. Levels like "69 machine" and a few other rated levels have been affected by the bug but not patched (Which explains why the level uses Stereo Madness as the song), but didn't cause the issue of an object with a hitbox being teleported to x0,y0. "Active Factory" by YunHaSeu14 is also affected by this bug and also physically impossible. The bug was fixed some time in 1.5, but the damage was done, and RobTop deleted C0nFuS3D from the servers on Valentines Day 2014. :D 5:56 - (Fun Fact) Even before Update 1.7, it was possible to directly copy a level by copying the level data from an online level in your Saved Levels folder to a level in your Created Levels folder, but few players knew how to perform this. XYZ Step Infinity by OrcaSN was built by directly copying XYZ Step and buffing it to an Insane Demon. :D 7:20 - There's even modern examples of when this happen, like EGO KILLING and WOBBLING MACHINE being derated for having a hacked-verification and no legitimate victors by the time of their exposals. 10:12 - It was Update 1.8 that caused this, not Update 2.0. What Rob changed with the physics was make it so the ball could bump on the ceiling/blocks via jump pads or orbs without dying. (Which... broke this level since the block was too close to the pad, as before you would slightly clip through the block without dying.) 10:53 - Best explanation we have of why this got rated at all was due to a LevelID typo in the demon system. (And RobTop never even bothered to check the level he played and... yea this whole situation is one massive question mark.) Funnily enough, this was copied from yet another buffed version of The Nightmare by a different user. 11:17 - Absolut DestructionK :P - Kuiper, member of RU
Hakucho was also a hacked green user "account" that is really 2 separate people, I think: GW Elsa (the creator of High Hill) and HellGalaxy (the low-effort level thief).
I got an example of a deleted/unrated level, although its a little strange because it was never unrated or deleted in the traditional sense: CuCu by TheLoserClub Some context: While I was browsing the recent tab I found a named Leviathan which was uploaded by Schnuffi41. It was an ok level but had good gameplay so a gave it a shot in practice mode, and at the very end I saw that the name didnt match the creator. Of course copying levels isnt anything new but the guy who “made” the level had some creator points, so i thought it was a mistake. I asked him, but he deleted the level and reuploaded it with the name at the end updated. Thought it was very suspicious, so I asked the guy who ACTUALLY made the level, and he managed to get the copy taken down. Now, the actual meat of the situation: I figured if Schnuffi copied some random’s level, there was a chance that his featured level, CuCu, was also copied. Sure enough, with a bit of digging used the advanced search options, I found an earlier version uploaded by TheLoserClub, the actual creator. She was inactive, though, so I had to contact a few moderators to get Schnuffi’s version removed. Took a few days but they did fix it, but in a slightly surprising way. Robtop used the same method that he used with Advy and that unikitty dude, where he doesnt delete the level but instead transfers it to a different account. Very strange situation. I wish there was some kind of tool to more easily check if a level is copied, because ever since this happened I got curious as to how many people got away copying levels. Note: To those who are skeptical, there are a few clues as to what happened by checking around. Some include: - Current version still includes the copiers name - The original and current version exist on the same account - Schnuffi still has his creator point due to a bug, or possibly because Robtop forgot to remove it -You can see TheLoserClub’s comment on a now deleted copy of her own level, Arctic, calling out Schnuffi for saying that she was the one copying Oh yeah and please dont harass this guy. Not only is it just morally wrong but youd also just be yelling at a brick wall bc the dudes been inactive ever since he got exposed
Also I have a question for those who see this: Does a tool to check if a level is copied actually exist? Usually I just use the suspicious level’s song, length, and coin status and search to see if theres an earlier version, but theres only so much I can do with it. I dont want to spend an eternity looking through hundreds of levels for a version that might not even exist. Ive heard there are level searching tools though. Does anyone know anything that can help me out? I really would like to start finding serial plagiarists again, its fun and you get to help the community.

@@admiralensin. The clubstep monster already looked horrible and funny at the same time, and then some bastard decided to ruin the GD community, cuz this is the only game that doesn't has any NSFW characters or stories, so let's create one.
Robert Nicolas Christian Topala / Robtop doesn't usually unrate levels with a dislike count that is through the rooftops.

9:00 why does that seem so geometry dash
12:54 Lust Letter was such a good level thought. It wasnt even that explicit
The editing is stunning great job also nice video very interesting and extremely interesting
Glad you enjoyed it
And the ending is a reference to the dark side of gd
can we just take a moment to appricate how much time he spends making his videos and how good he is
12:42 bloodlust verification have like 4X times the views but ok
Well its arguable but the Kenos verification is referenced in so many other media that even if it doesn't literally have more views then the Bloodlust video, its arguably more iconic.

The level so powerful it needed to be split into 3 parts is actually insane

INFORMATION OVERLOAD
Could you some day try to explore why Robtop seemingly refuses to rate The Eras of GD?
I've always wondered why robtop allowed megahack. I mean it's fun but its nature is anything but official lol
GDVault is no longer managed by Cob and there's a new spreadsheet that has the same secret ways I think
The contents of the doc were stolen for gdvault too
5:43 CHERRT TEA- oh no it’s not…
Woah bro new matmart video?
Matmart said "unrated" as "derated". Day ruined
unrated applies to any level that has no stars, however derated implies that the level was once rated. Which is the subject of the video
I just found this randomly tysm for the info

Okay that first song was in TWO of my recommended videos of all things without me even hearing it prior. The videos are of two very different topics too. Ain't that a bizarrely amazing coincidece?
I love how the first time MatMart says "Insane", the Insane Demon face is shown. But for the second time, the Insane face is shown.
Rhythm thief music?! I did NOT expect this to show up in a GD video
I was listening to not like us on a random short I found and then this started playing and matched the song prefectly

fair enough

Today I went shopping at MatMart
Today I went shopping at MatMart and bought some corn on the Cobgd. My Doggie protected me from the Sammelots that almost Mattacked me on my Colon. My Doggie DNIDn't let them touch me, and threw them into outerspaceuk, then started eating some MoldyMacaroniX bread on the floor. Ew, I'd rather eat some Beanable soup, and I hate beanables! It's justifiable though, as he needed a quick snack after Sdslaying those guys, but suddenly, a Stormfly started and the Electrified BTThunderbolts scared me, and the AeonAir almost made me fall, but I thought to myself that NothingIsScary, and that I am a Herozer, and so I Tride as hard as I could to resist the Stormfly. I then went back home and had some Lemoncak3 and a few HBars for dinner. I woke up on Christmas day and opened my Nifty presents that Santa Klaux brought me. Inside were some Rubik's cubes that my parents thought would make me a MathGenius!
