- In today's Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy review, we're taking a look at what might be favourite episode of the series so far. And it's not even a Whirl-centric episode! It's Season 2, Episode 21, "Mul-T-Change of Pace"! The episode where little Hot Shot tries to master his Mul-T-Cog and become a true multichanger!

That bellyflop Hotshot did while practicing his multichanges always makes me laugh! The whole segment is really funny! They have some really good comedic writers:) It would be great if the next Rescue Bots,if there is one,showing the recruits older and a little bigger, like Cody was,doing rescues on earth and space! But this is one epi I will watch over and over!
I got to agree they have a really awesome team RBA shine out when compared to other cartoons. But the one comedy that hurt me was the one in medix suprise where poor hotshot who didn't deserve to end up in that situation was pushed aside hurt and insulted while the other recruits who didn't even feel bad for him got to rescue chuck. like that was the most ironic humour in this entire series.
I'd say it's to get Hotshot ready to lead the next Rescue Bots team. If you look more at the context of the show in general and how certain episodes (like this one) focus on Hotshot, this assumption makes sense. While not taking Heatwave's place, Hotshot is following in the Rescue bot leader's footsteps. So, in a way, it's a next generation/passing of the torch scenario.
For all his efforts he deserves to be a leader
@@sircharleston2712 i see the point,Hotshot will prof heatwave that "he" would be the leader by take on the crocodile🐊 in 1v1, and is... So awesome!!!😳 He did manage to defeating the crocodile 🐊but what would do wedge after this??? I don't no...😏

@@user-Erimej No, I haven't seen any episodes that back up my theory. I've only seen as far as episode 39. but just seeing the way certain episodes focus on Hotshot, it's safe to predict that they could make him the new leader of the new Rescue Bots. 😊 Only time will tell if I'm right.

He need to like fight against the very aggressive Bear 🐻, and save is fellow recruits like Whirl to safety to not being tear apart,& survive with some damage,but "he" would be promoted by optimus to be the leader of rescue bot recruits, Whirl & others would be so happy as they party with him for his achievement,but wedge make himself jealous,but I don't what's happening next,but you get the point!!! Right???😄

i thought the 'one altmode a day' rule was so he didnt over work his systems and permanently damage himself before his body could adjust to the new altmodes, i'm kinda thinking of how ambulon in mtmte could only turn into a left leg
Well Ambulon was because the Decepticons modified him or something but I get what you mean

Whatever the real reason for the limitation, it was likely for Hot Shot's safety. Heatwave getting a new altmode was draining on him, and he was already a fully trained Rescue Bot, albeit one without a Mul-T-Cog.
Also, if they're not grooming him for leadership, they're at the very least training him to utilize the Mul-T-Cog to its full potential.

Is Heatwave a Multi-Changer who can turn into either a Fire Truck, a Boat, and a Dinobot, respectively?
@@USDMXTHEPROEXPERT Yes, he is, but I don't think any of the dinobot forms show up in Academy.
I hope there will be a season 3 of transformers rescue bots academy and I also hope slag aka slug and swoop and slash will appear in the series and I hope that grimlock slag/slug snarl sludge swoop and slash will transform in to their robot mode what will the dinobot's robot modes be will their robot modes be their generation 1 robot modes will they please say the dinobot's robot modes will be like their g1 robot modes
Let's just hope we get more RBA soon like I love this show

But this should be before The Fault of the Primes Hotshot was driving to the tower in ATV mode and blocked the rock in jet mode.
Seems like their hinting that Hotshot might become the leader of the rescue bots for his team. Kinda like how Heatwave was made the leader of his team in the original rescue bots show.
Or maybe a prime, but I doubt that.

I've been waiting for this
My first thought was that too when Optimus said that there was more to the multi-cog than met the eye. It's a huge shame they cancelled the show because I would have loved to see the recruits grown up, and what would have happened if Optimus revealed that he was grooming Hot Shot to become the next prime and the multi-cog that Optimus gave him was unique or something. And if he would have been paired with Cody but had to leave because he was training to become a prime and then be forced with a decision.
You're making me cry. he would obviously stay with the recruits their like family now.

@@jaydejots1674 Yeah but maybe a rescue team not a team that kills decepticons because transformers prime had some pretty dark moments that weren't for kids. i hope RBA gets a new season with the recruits on year 3 It's heartwarming to see young cartoons like this. Which is why RBA is my favorite
@@sircharleston2712 I'm pretty sure the alined continuity is canceled. RBA was the last of it. And yes I know he wouldn't be after cons because then pore Wedge and because there all in prison. But I mean to lead a new era for Earth and Cybertron, you could have had him be the prime for a new show and maybe do a thing like with primal were it takes place millions of years into the future where maybe humans evolved alongside Cybertronians and we get to see what they look like then.
@@jaydejots1674 Yeah I know the aligned continuity has ended RBA was the last of it But we will still be able to see the recruits in a future series they might bring it back as it has high ratings so hopefully we'll see them in year three and maybe whirl should have more moments with the other recruits instead of hoist I mean hoist is getting too much love

I cried watching this episode. It’s not as bad as the end of the first season when he left. But I still cried.

I cry for hotshot whenever things go wrong for him especially in medix suprise. This bot just grabs our attention which just melts our souls to see him try his best.
He is becoming my favorite recruit.
