Setting the Map || Charlotte Ward || Think Fast, Run Hard, Go Orienteering || Compass

British athlete Charlotte Ward demonstrates how to set the map using a compass and the terrain.
Charlotte won a Silver Medal in the Sprint Relay at the 2022 World Championships in Kolding, Denmark, and a Bronze Medal in the Sprint Relay at the 2022 World Games in Bimingham, Alabama.
As well as orienteering for HALO (Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers), Charlotte is an active member of Hallamshire Harriers Athletics Club. She competes regularly in road and cross-country races (gaining a Yorkshire vest the weekend this video was released). Charlotte works in the field of Mathematical Biology; her PhD looked into modelling the effects of climate change on infectious diseases in Arctic wildlife populations.
