    why did you call it fake zoom lol its just a normal zoom

      @NDEL3G4CY 5 месяцев назад +6

      It’s called a fake zoom because the transition makes it seem as if it’s fully zooming into the character. Where as it’s actually just 2 different clips put together with a transition to make it look like a “fake zoom”

    Hi, I have a question? Is the fake zoom transition possible with adjustment layers? I dont know the difference between those two things. That is why I ask.

      if you use different effects to try to recreate the same thing it will be a lot harder but you can recreate it for sure just takes more steps.

    Wouldnt it be better if you just used one null across the two clips so that the movement is continuous?

    Im learninh AE, can someone tell me what the null layer does? Why couldnt I put the zoom on the clip itself?

    • @enraged_ae
      @enraged_ae  3 месяца назад +1

      A null layer is like an adjustment layer except you don’t apply effects onto it, it’s used to move the layer you link it to in terms of scaling and position and it doesn’t make your pc work hard for it as well if that makes sense

    • @elmokelmu
      @elmokelmu 3 месяца назад

      @@enraged_ae Ah, so the upside from using them is that rendering the project afterwards then needs less computing power?

    • @enraged_ae
      @enraged_ae  3 месяца назад +1

      @@elmokelmu basically renders faster and you have more control over the zoom and the movement in general compared to adding a effect to the actual clip
