Digging For Vinyl Records In The Dollar Bin $ To Dig Or Not To Dig?

- In this video I ask the question, “Do you dig through the dollar bin?” I myself do. I enjoy finding records that may have not gotten the love they deserve and or have a sleeve that wasn’t kept well. I also show some records that I have acquired by digging through bargain and dollar bins.

I don't know how I missed this one, I thought it was recent but at least I found it LoL, I also have found some very good lp's in the bargain bin and garage sales so keep hunting you never know what you might run across, take care my friend
Great topic! I can’t say I dig as deeply as I did back in the day, but the thrill is still there; it’s just the inventory isn’t as great as it used to be, IMO.
Yeah, I feel you on the inventory selection. And thanks for the props on the topic (I’m trying) and like you said it’s the thrill. My “local record shop” is like 40 minutes away in a direction I don’t travel so when I travel away I try to hit any record shop that’s there, but yeah it’s the vibe and the nostalgia of being in the shop and digging. So actually buying records from a record store vs the online buying, it’s just a different feeling that I try to set aside some time for. Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it.
Those are all solid finds Especially the Lp's. The dollar bin is the first place I hit. Can't go wrong with 1 dollar records.
Really can’t go wrong for a buck. And yeah, I’m pretty excited when I find some good LPs.
Great video! very seldom do I dig in the $1 bin. on occasion I will find a pretty good record....but usually I have a hit list which I have never been lucky enough to find any GRAILS in the $1 bin.
Thanks! And thanks for watching!!
I for one always be digging in the dollar bin!!! Gotta lookout for them deals!!
I know that’s right!! 🤣 You crazy!
I just sub’d. I haven’t looked at the discount bin in years. My knees suck, i need vg+ or better… i will dig into your other videos.
Thanks!
this bobby brown album is my favorite,i think this album is underrated!
Gotta go with “Don’t Be Cruel” as my favorite but the first album was really good.
@@junesmusiccorner exactly and we don t say it often
the gems have long been picked through at most shops i've been to in my local/surrounding areas. like you mentioned condition is everything to me Vg+ or better if it's gonna be a keeper in my collection otherwise it's just a place holder till i can get a better copy.i usually wouldn't buy singles because my space is very limited and i would like more LPs taking up space than a single.but to answer the question i would still dig the dollar bins if there was awesome stuff like you found in your area, you no longer find stuff like that in my area in the dollar bins.
Fully understand that. I don’t always find good stuff but I’ll dig. I suspect there will come a time where I have to get rid of some records that I don’t or won’t listen to due to space concerns. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
Does that Menace II Society soundtrack have Top Of The World by Kenya Gruv?
Nah, that one wasn’t included on any of the promos. It was a pretty cool song though, transitioned from “Computer Love” in the movie.
