Rock bottom looks different for everyone. Sometimes it's as simple as selling bootleg mythbusters merch out of a tiny van next to a giant inflatable amoung us dude with a booty
Your 20's are the best time to try and find yourself, so kudos to you for exploring the many paths available to you. What can be centering is thinking about your different passions, and finding what common threads there are connecting them. Me, I'd love to see you directing film, with that razor sharp vision you bring to your work.. but that's just me and I try not to be selfish :)
Hi Audrey, you crossed my mind today because I was really amazed by your storytelling in one particular video. Stopping by to say hi!! Hope you're well :)
I see life's journey as a character walking on a long road and adding little pieces (experiences, dreams, goals, inspirations, etc...) on his back, he just keeps moving, along the road, he might get a side road, were he can see other characters roads and so on, sometimes he also can get new roads to try, but as he added the weight, it feels "depressing" to drop it to try something new, fearing that he might not be able to carry the new weight or that if he adds the new weight he might fail. But that's the journey, try something new from time to time, experience a new road with someone or alone, those little side steps our the closing of a chapter are what we live for, and one day, when that character reachs the end of the road, he might look back to where he started, relive his journey, and on that moment, he can feel the nostalgic injection that made him proud of. That would be a great movie/short. Glad to see you back Audrey, have your fun along the road!
Friggin bang on edit and general look. You really sting the story together well and its super well paced. Usually I'm not a fan of not "knowing where the video is taking me", but you were able to thread that line really well.
Life is like a book, there are chapters within that can change so dramatically. I think change is great and exciting! I can talk from spending my early 20s so work and career driven and in the deep end of work where I could sink or swim. Four months ago I turned 25 I had that quarter life crisis and quit my job and moved from New Zealand to the other side of the world to the Uk starting over my life completely with new people and new environment. Still not knowing what I’m doing from solo travelling Europe or starting a new career here but that’s the exciting thing about change and opening a new chapter in life 😁 The best thing is not to stress and live in the present and take day to day as a new day. You could dabble in books of fiction or non fiction it may inspire other creative ideas 💡
I really really REALLY enjoyed thissss!! Especially the part about different hobbies/parts of us and our priorities, and things that drive our choices. I've been finding that there are so many things I could be doing, and creative outlets that I love, and I won't get into it too much but I just really FELT this video! 🥰🙏🏾
What a great video! You are an AMAZING film maker and story teller! I liked that you talked about the creative process and introduced the idea of trying different art forms when we get stuck at our main art forms, which I've never thought of before. I'm excited to check out all your other videos as well! Take care!
wow, congratulations you made it. i literaly just got introduced to your videos and channel 24hrs ago. and i watched quite a few videos now. with this one you can clearly see that your going into a direction of having found your style. cinematic Storytelling... you've spend so many years learning and trying to find your style and taking us along your journey, and clearly something clicked now it seems. keep on going on this exciting journey. wishing you all the best from germany.
So many adventures and opportunities yet to unfold. Glad to see you still creating! Welcome to Ontario! Not too far away from Prince Edward Island which is where I am now. Always cheering you on!
Eyy!! welcome back! and yeah, feel free to drop by when you feel like it! After a while of working in the media industry you sometimes come to the realization that it's still a job other things can and should inform them but they can also just be other parts of your life that are just as important
Love this documentary approach to your life here, and especially love the shot in through the window from above! You are 100% not alone in that feeling of being lost on RUclips. I quietly quit RUclips for almost 10 years, put myself into my work, personal life, chased some new hobbies... And when I came back the entire thing had shifted. I legitimately didn't know who Mr. Beast was until roughly a year ago, that's how far I was tucked away in my corner of RUclips. On one hand it might feel like copying other peoples' styles, but I think it might be better to look at it as if you're doing the equivalent of training the pencil in your mind to sketch the way you want it to. These videos people made inspire you, and you want to harness a little something like that, so you do what any painter does if they want to learn a certain style, which is to just do the style. Sooner or later, you find out how to do it subconsciously, and then suddenly your own style is born. Anyways, fantastic video, and welcome to Canada! The home of "sometimes winter, sometimes not; we never really know."
YES canada!!! After going to the first basecamp, I kind of like being a creator in canada... going at my own pace instead of being with the influencer crowd? I learned a lot from everyone but I also felt their pressure. Parts of Canada are quiet and boring perhaps but it allows us to look inward and letting our inner child shine! (p.s. I hope you feel very inspired and that you got to talk to ryan about his scripts like I did!)
It would be cool to see you collab as an editor or cameraman for Nigel from nilered sense he’s from Canada too and sense it would probably be pretty easy to reach out to him due to your connection with Allen pan and the other guys on safety third
I know it's a boring answer, but I really enjoy a nice al dente thicker spaghetti. Lately have also gotten into bucatini. It's my fav with a more tomato forward acidic sauce with some good olive oil. As one woman artist to another, super proud of you for having the courage to create in such a male dominated industry. Keep it up! You're not alone.
Im not at all surprised u left LA. It didn’t really seem like ur kinda town, but at least you tried it! So many people never take a leap of faith, but you did. U are a really good observer and story teller. Keep using that. But most of all, follow the trail that makes you happy.
Audrey. Snow Joe. Changed my life, Sincerely, a Minnesotan. (warning: does not work well if your vehicle has a lot of things that stick up. I drive a jeep wrangler. it does not have things that stick out.)
You and your youtube making style reminds me so much of @nataliexlynn. It would have been funny / cool to have re-created the museum scene from Ferris Bueller , when you were in the museum. How'd you get the partial circle around you shot at the end in the field ? With drone ?
@@ShymonMusic Oh I get what you mean now sorry lol. Trial and error - the drone itself is flying in a circle, but I have to keep the drone facing the "subject" in the centre. It's called an orbit. More advanced drones can have a camera that moves freely outside of the drone, but most are fixed in place so you have to learn to move the drone sideways. Long winded answer - but drone piloting is literally my job so :D
But bro, you’re alive! LA burned to the ground. Well, so did like 99% of Canada (actually no one ever said that was put out. I think it’s still burning or burnt down any forms of communication to the outside world) ….but LA is gone now. You can always do ASMR, you have the voice for it.
pro tip for moving to canada, get rid of those CA plates ASAP. people will treat you like total garbage when they see those plates. as for removing snow, sweep the roof off your first FIRST. if you leave snow on the roof, at best people will hate you and at worst, the snow can kill someone when it comes off on the highway. and then with the windows, wipe from the roof down with your brush side first, then scrape from the bottom up with the scraper side. also a block heater will save you a TON of gas if you like to warm you car up by idling. and never admit you are from CA, just say you are from the west coast and they will assume you are from oregon or washington
I've lived in Ontario much of my life, and never heard of or saw anybody treating people from California poorly. I've seen them treating Texans a bit differently, but even then it wasn't like "total garbage". If anything, I think people in Ontario mostly see Californians as surfers or hippies, and most of us like both of those things. I suspect the reception would be different in Alberta or Saskatchewan though.

If you make it they will come
Great video!
9:10 do you set a point where the drone has to focus? or is it controlled manually? this looks just fantastic
the drone was using a centre focus mode. But with most drones almost everything is in focus anyways :)
@@nickstrode8394 sorry for mistaking cinematic terms, I meant how did the lens turn and "watch" the object even when moving?
