For sure if you clean any plastic residue that forms from burning the bottle, it is recommended to cut the residue, grind the hole and use good water that you drink, tap water contains stones that harm cats

Wouldn't recommend, bacteria will eventually grow, you will need to clean it and find a casing for the power source, otherwise you might just end up with a fried kitty. Or injured.
