Obviously for those who know, you need to do a full chart. The moon sign I would guess would be more key because it would be harder to change. The Sun sign really at most is only about 2% of the chart.

Maybe we lasted so long because we both were in a continuously sinking financial boat, with job loss, homelessness and eventually substance abuse. We were two of a feather. If you have a partner in your fight to survive, you might overlook their faults while trying to make it thru another day. I would pay more attention to the Venus (for men) & Mars (for women) or even the moon signs instead of the sun sign. Remember you are made up of all the planets, not just the sun. Which explains why you were able to deal with someone for a vast amount of time although your sun signs weren't compatible.
